If you suspect the battery try some spare batteries double checking with several known good to brand new one tests to cover your bases for consistency. It is a method of trial and error eliminating any possibility of a battery problem.

Sometimes there are power drain issues where cheep batteries even new can't handle. Trial and error illumination of a power drain issue checking with high power drain capable batteries. Information can sometimes be found in the manual in the specification.

From there you have the insight information it is not the battery in your further investigations describing the problem to a dealer or manufacture.

Other options of investigation include if you have the owners manual to check if there is any special settings to instigate you may need to know about dealers and the manufacture should know as well.

Hello!
Absolutely astonished by this "solution" from escapement.
This watch is working perfectly - it is simply giving its "end of battery life warning".

SOURCE: Sweep 2nd hand operation & watch time setting on my Pulsar watch.

The larger second hand on the Pulsar PF8036 is part of the stopwatch feature. The upper button starts/stops the stopwatch feature, and the lower button operates the lap/reset function. Why they made the larger hand work only with the stopwatch instead of the smaller hand to the left is beyond me, but that's how it is designed.

My invicta reserve Zeus bolt stopped working after not wearing for a little while and now I tried winding back up and it doesn't want to work

Most Invicta Bolt Zeus watches have a quartz movement and require a battery. I'm not sure there is any Zeus with a mechanical movement that needs winding. A jewelry store should be able to change the battery for a small fee if that's what it needs.

The seconds hand on my invicta subaqua reserve does not move. It only moves when I start the chronograph. I've read the instructions time after time and can not get it to work.

The hand that moves when the chronograph is working is not a second hand. It will rest at the 12 o'clock position unless you are using the stopwatch. If your Invicta has a second hand, it is one of those small dials on the watch face.

How to use the subdials on a wrist watch

One of them is the seconds hand of your watch, this sub dial will keep on moving even if the watch is not used as a stop watch. the other 2 sub dials are for the stop watch function. one is for tracking the minutes and the other is for hours. the big seconds hand will only work if you use the stop watch function. you can reset your stop watch to zero by pressing the pusher located at the 4 o,clock location of your watch.

The second hand on my invicta chronograph watch doesn't reset to zero

Easier than you think.
Pull your Crown out to the FIRST stop (were you would normally set your date). Push the "A" button (top chrono button) for your dial at the "3 oclock" area, Push the "B" button(bottom chron button) for the second hand.

I can't figure out how to adjust the offset chronograph

This is to adjust the seconds hand or minutes hand for the chronograph. Pull the crown out either one click or two ... depending on the models. Squeeze and hold the top and bottom buttons at the same time (timer stop and reset buttons). Hold down together for 2+ seconds. The chronograph hands should reset by spinning around and stopping at 0. If the don't stop right at zero, you can now adjust where they stop. Leave the crown where it is in that same position out. Press the top chronograph button and hold it down for fast movement or short presses for fine movement to adjust til it stops at the top. This will adjust where the seconds hand stops. Then click the bottom chrono button once. Repeat what you did with the top chrono button and it should allow you to fine tune the position for the next dial, and so on. When you are done, press the crown back in all the way to the normal position.

Actually the sweep arm can be set to 0 and will probably have to be every time you have the battery replaced. To set the sweep arm pull the stem and crown out to the first or second set position then press and hold down the start button. The sweep arm will move into position and you can let go of the button when it is where you want it. Make sure to set the right time and replace the crown in the time position.

Invicta Speedway 9223 not keeping time

It sounds to me as it is a quartz chronograph and it is right that the centre seconds hand moves only if the pushbutton is pressed. If you look close enough, you will notice that the small subdial finger is ticking and counting seconds. It is recommended to replace battery, as sometimes watches been laying in stores for a few years before selling and the battery is flat or underpowered.
