What can be done to correct these problems without coming out of my pocket being it's only 3 years old? Can you send a technician out to evaluate the problem without any charge to me?
Thank you for your post, Genie Byrd!
From my understanding your Frigidaire refrigerator is not sealing properly which is causing an issue with your icemaker. You may need to replace the component for your seal. I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home to properly diagnosis and repair your refrigerator. Are you under warranty? Typically, if you are under warranty a repair should not come out of your pocket. I would consult with your manufacturer for warranty coverage. Hope this information helps. -OOS

Are you replacing the hinge guides as well? The hinge is usually only one half of the problem. When you remove the door, look into where the upper long arm of the hinge resided. You will see a little runner wheel. Touch it with a thin screw driver and see if the wheel feels loose. I'll bet at least one of them is!

SOURCE: how do you remove the door from a frigidaire gallery series double wall oven(self cleaning)?
Open the door and look at the hinges the connect the oven door to the oven body, on each side you will notice a piece that can be moved back and forth without moving the door, roll each side toward the oven body this should be the locked position, now try to close the door and you will notice the hinges lift up. At this time you need to pull up and push forward on the door and both hinges will come out.
