The problem could be 1 of 2 things - or a combination of them all...

1) Technics Pitch Control - if your pitch control is dirty, full of sand, this is more than likely the culprit and will need to be replaced.

2) Pitch Control IC's - there are 3 which are on the main circuit board, underneath the turntable platter. Any one or combination might have shorted out, a common problem.

In either case, you'll have to contact a qualified service center for repair, as neither are easy replacements. Good Soldering/De-Soldering skills are required to perform this properly.

Tried to start jeep and dash gauges went crazy, and then started a mild ticking noise. Tried to juice her for ten mins, and as soon as we took the cables of, the lighs started flickering, and she knocked...

did you jump start? if you did the car is getting all power from the host battery and the motor run, took cable off motor stopped which means your alternator is not charging.

LG GD330 - battery problem: the battery of my brandnew LG GD330 lasts only 2 days in stead of the proposed 20 (= 500h) and it is used only several times a day.

Hi, the sales pitch is a bit of a scam when it comes to standby times for phones they base it on the phone being fully charged then left on without anybody touching it or anybody making or receiving calls from it, even touching the screen to check a message brings the battery time down loads.
so its not a fault with your phone its the same with any phone if you contacted lg they will tell you the same if the phone isnt touched or used then it will last the expected standby time but as soon as you touch it or enter the phone this time is reduced by loads.

so the standby time is a bit of a scam really as they wouldnt expect anyone not to touch their own phone or even use it during this time, so to anser your question your phone is in perfect working order its just the advertisement is not worded as it should be what they should say is the following

your phone will last xxx amount of hours if it has had a full charge then if you never touch the phone or make or receive calls or text if you do this then the standby time drops drastically.

its nothing your doing its just bad advertising on the companys behalf so your phone is working as it should its just they dont state that you cant use your phone during this time to get the maximum standby time stated.

a con i know but they get round it by saying the phone will last on standby for this time but what they should say if the phone will last this long if you never use it during this time.

you can try it by doing this give the phone a full charge then remove your sim card then switch the phone on then just leave it like that dont touch it then just wait until you get the warning for flat battery then you will have some idea of what im going on about. touch it and the time will drop drastically.

let me know if i can assist you further.

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated post, thanks

GE microwave is unresponsive

I suspect the controller is a low-level microprocessor that may even have its own programmable chuck of memory on board to adapt to different models. Either the clock (for synchronizing the processor) is no longer running or the processor itself has failed.
I doubt if this board is considered repairable so figure on replacing it. It probably cost all of $5 to produce but likely in the upper two digits to buy.
Unfortunately, GE quality and that of their sources (they don't build much of it) has dropped drastically in the last decade.

Horn problem on 2002 Saturn Vue AWD V6

This is probably a temp thing...night brings colder temps. The wiring may be failing or the steering wheel portion over the horn might harden and cause it to touch the center of the horn to make it go off.
Let me know if this helps.

Dash, running lights, radio..on and off

Something similar happened to my 2005. the gauges went crazy! stopped half way or dropped completely down. Like the fuel indicator, speedometer, tach. While I never lost the radio or headlights, I did lose my dashboard lights--pretty creepy at night. My husband did some online digging and found the problem. In the dashboard gauge set-up there is a poor solder on one of the electronic components. He took the gauge center off, popped it open, found the crappy solder, fixed it, put it back in and it has worked fine ever since!!!

the ****--Ford knows about this faulty soldering and since it doesn\'t happen to ALL of the cars--just a select few(even more models we found out later)--they won\'t do a recall. Even if you take it to a dealership for them to fix, odds are they could replace it with an entire unit with the same problem. Your best bet is to fix the bad solder yourself or find someone who can.

Pitch problem out of nowhere!

HI Mattgood2

I believe this is a common problem more evident in decks that have a very hard life,
You pitch controls are probably due for replacements so I suggest you take then to the service agents to service them,
unless you know how to do the servicing

I grew up with Decks under my fingertips so I have seen this before and remember the only satisfing fix was a service and the pitch controls had to be replaced,

I thought I would have a go re-servicing myself and found far too many things to cover once the covers were off,

There are many things that need attention on the inside of these decks and the precise placement of each component is vital to the correct operation of this unit, peace of mind really

It takes a small amount of care to maintain these decks,
when they die or fail get a pro to fix the problem.
guess work only makes you look like an "Amatuer"

Please dont be offended (by my words) Ive done it too,LOL
I had a full dance floor and then nothing, the decks got replaced

What have you used to clean the pitch control sliders???

Platter problem

THE PITCH slider or the variable resistor could have gone faulty. A new pitch is only $25 i think. They may need to salvage the pcb from your old one as technics no longer manufacters them. I've never seen the pitch led stay on lock when the actual pitch is not at zero. Hopefully the pitch did not short out the brake or the variable resistors on the motor's circuitboard.

keep me poted.

Pitch Control Problems

How old are your decks? common this problem,,,, sounds to me that you have a dodgy switch probably where you have been using the 45 to pitch up intermittently from 33 this isn't really an expensive fix, though if you have warranty use it! if you are going to attempt this your self parts are gonna cost about 15 bucks! but get a service manual and take the greatest of care heard a few horror stories which is why if you need an engineer to work it for you out side of the warranty you are probably looking at 70-80 bucks, i fix my mark 2's when i need to ,,,just be sure you have read up b4 you start!
