You are correct; The red foot pedal should apply the brakes and the grey foot pedal should release them.

Unfortunately there are no quick fixes to resolve this; due to the safety implications of the brakes not functioning correctly we would recommend the unit is returned to our engineers for inspection & repair work required.

to ford courier code 24, had same problem at work with customers ute, turned out to be a fault with the immobilizer built into the fuel injector pump. solution was to fit a change over pump.
