SOURCE: Screen displays error code f3e2

This code means "BAKE/BROIL range over temperature"
Problem is in either temperature sensor or the control board. Check the temp sensor and wiring from it to the control board first (connector #3, contacts 8 and 10, violet wires) . At room temperature the temp sensor resistance should be around 1080 Ohms. Also check temp sensor for short to ground. If no problems found with the sensor - replace control board.
OBTW - for the broil problem - check the fuse inline with the broil element (continuity between Conn #2, wire 1, blue and conn #4, wire 3, red). It should read several ohms. Good luck!

Error code F3 /E2 on Whirlpool Cabrio Dryer.

Question moved from Cars and Trucks.

The Whirlpool washer F3E2 error code is a temperature sensor error. You can check the temperature sensor with an ohm meter to verify the sensor is bad. ... The correct ohm reading should be between 500-100K ohms, if not the sensor is bad and needs to be replaced.

I have Duet waSher, model #WFW9151YW00. I have an error code F3E2. Thought it was the temperature sensor, which we just replaced, but still getting the same error code. Now what?

This could be a wiring fault between the water temperature sensor and the control unit. Make sure that the connectors are properly seated at both sides. Sometimes, one section of the wiring can get pinched and one of the wires in that harness could break. Check that all of the wires in the harness have continuity; the wiring may need to be replaced. Clean out the trap before the discharge pump just in case the error is from a different part of the washer's system.

I hope this helps.

Code F3E2(temp sensor) I replaced it and checked for continuity btw sensor and CCU,all good. still throwing code and wont work. what next?

Check for voltage and ground at the sensor plug. Check the sensor for resistance, Could have bought a bad one. After that your probably looking at replacing the ccu. I would get it on a scanner first.

When i used my washer after 3-4 mins f3 e2 maytag front load washer , changed ntc but still same

I am sorry to hear that you have error code F3E2. I know how upsetting error codes can be. I see here that for your Maytag washer, error F3E2 means there is a water temperature sensor error. Below is to test the error
WATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR ERROR:
1. If the water temperature sensor valve is out of range (23 degrees to 217 degrees F or -5 to 103 degree C) during the water-heating step of the WASH cycle.
Possible causes/procedures
a. Unplug washer or disconnect power
b. Make sure that connections to water heater and CCU (TH2 & HE2 cavities) connectors are not broken or with wires detached, and that connector internal pins are visible.
c. Check continuity from the water heater sensor (black wires to CCU (TH2 cavity) Connector.
d. If the continuity diagnosis failed, the Main Harness must be replaced.
e. Check the resistance of the heating element.
f. Check the resistance of the water sensor.
g. Plug in the washer or reconnect power.
h. Verify the washer operation by running the Diagnostic test.
i. After the diagnostic test has finished, unplug washer or disconnect power and wait for 15 seconds.
Below is the diagnostic test. I have it in two halves so you can read it best that way.
If you will submit your model number I will be able to help you further.

F3-E2 Oven over heat. Replace Sensor

0ae81cf.jpgOven sensor should measure around 1100 ohms.
Oven sensors should not be grounded. Continuity from frame to either sensor wire is a bad sensor.
