Have somone hold the start button while you measure the voltage across the battery. If it is less than 11 volts, then the battery is bad.

My light was red and when I put it into manual mode, it just clicked. When I jostled the contacts on the battery, it measured 13 vDC. After that, it started right up. I needed to clean the corrosion on the battery.

Measure the voltage at the Power terminal of the starter. When the switch is set to manual you should read aprox 12 volts at the starter. If not the starter contactor will require replacement. If 12 volts is measured the starter will require replacement

SOURCE: It is a Guardian-Generac Generator Model 0052410.

My cousin has one of these models and the same thing happened to his. It was the natural gas regulator valve that went out. He could hear the clicking noise which is the spark ignitor trying to ignite the gas pilot light. After replacing the gas regulator the unit work fine as ever

SOURCE: Won't Start. When attempting to start manually,

It sounds like the starter contacter is shot. I do not remember if the starter on this unit has a separate contacter or it is built onto the starter. I thought your starter might be shot, but you mentioned that you have full voltage going into the contacter and low coming out. Now, carefully, you could see if the starter is good by bypassing the contacter. Do this carefully. Take a battery jumper cable and connect one end to the starter cable on the contacter and touch the other to the battery end of the contacter. This will cause some sparks, but it will tell you if the starter turns or not.

It could be either your start capacitor or the contactor-relay. Or you could try cleaning the contacts of the relay with an emery board to see if there is a change.

My 32KW Generac RG03224KNA's screen won't come on.

The manual does not specify a minimum voltage for the battery. It merely defers to battery manufacturer specifications.

Measure the battery voltage with a DMM. A fully charged battery will be 12.5 to 12.7 volts. Any reading less than 12.25 will likely be problematic for the generator system. Remove battery and have it load tested or replace with a known good or new battery.

I have a Briggs and Stratton home stand by generator 7000 it starts in manual but wont start in auto engine just cranks but wont start

make sure gas valve is open, and run switch is ON. I'm not a fan of B&S engines. I have a Generac generator with NO problems.Pull start the unit and let run for 5 mins. Turn off. Now try the electric start. If it does not start, you have an elctical problem when using starter. Make sure battery is fully charged before starting. Hope it helps.

Your battery is dead..If the controller has a visible display your battery charger is most likely OK. Just put in a new Group 26R battery and set the time etc.

Generac 43901 trys to start but get only a buzzing sound

The buzzing sound is most likely the started solenoid chattering due to low battery voltage, change the battery and try again. If it still does it make make sure the engine is not seized and can turn over. Then measure voltage going from the solenoid to the starter, if it is very low change the solenoid

When i turn the key the escape wont start it just makes a clicking noise?

That noise is probably the starter solenoid rattling because the battery charge is low. Start out with a jump or make sure the battery is fully charged up.

After shutting it down for summer months it will not start, only makes click noise i have a guardian generac 7000kw home standby generator it is not the limit switch

sound like a dead battery, or dirty / bad connection from battery- try jumping it with a car battery-- if that doesn't work, check battery connection, loose or corroded leads.. otherwise it is solenoid or starter or starter switch
