It's normally done from a button on the handset - Press multiple times to increase the time before the TV goes off. Some TVs also have it accessible by the onscreen menus

What is the sleep mode?

To know more about the sleep mode and its adjustment, refer its user manual. It is a mode that you can set the sleep time, after which the TV will turn Off when that time is reached; after 30 min, iHr, 2Hr or so, to which that time is set for. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/

Check all the solder terminals at its main power regulator board for any loose soldering. Re-solder all the suspected ones, by applying a little more solder, and check. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

I have a MIRAI 22"

Mirai, made by Chi Mei Corporation in Taiwan, is proving elusive. You can find Chi Mei Corporation. But good luck on finding what branch would offer Mirai support. Tevion 7009 codes list that I have encountered do not list Mirai.. Why not search for a remote that was compatible with Mirai models? You have ended up chasing universal remote codes in the hope that your remote accepts such for that model. I notice you have not listed the model number of the Mirai. Different models were manufactured. Just how you found a Mirai website referring to a TV eludes me. However, you can play with these codes from a prior Fixya volunteer: http://www.fixya.com/support/t578407-mirai_tv_remote_control_set_up_code

JVC tv "stuck" on sleep timer

I think you would have to turn off the sleep timer mode completely or increase its ON time span, say to 4 hours or so
or the lenth of time you have the TV on for. If that does not fix it then it sounds like a STANDBY MODE fault problem.
Hope this helps.
