Find solutions to your put stanley sharpshooter staple gun back together question. ... staples for the TRE500 Stanley Sharpshooter Electric Heavy Duty Stapler.
Most staplers load from the rear, but not the TR250 Sharpshooter.
With the stapler upside down and the sliding rail out
drop a whole strip of staples in the channel upside down (points up) and
then push the slider back in making sure it locks.
Find the button on the bottom of the stapler's back edge. Push the button in and down. Pull out the bar that pushes the staples into place. Slide in a row of staples with the points facing down. Push the bar back and lock it into place
1 Hold stapler upside down.
2. Release black plastic catch at rear and pull out.
3. Drop staples into bottom of gun, with open side up.
4. Push black plastic catch closed and latched.
The staples should load in through the end of the hammer stapler. The end is spring loaded to push the staples forward, so push the end - usually a crome square - into the handle end then move that part up approximately 1/4 inch and pull back. The spring mechanism should slide out so you can add new staples. These staplers take a specific size of staple and a certain number to allow you to put the spring mechanism back into the stapler. If you do not know the correct size for your stapler someone at your local hardware store can help you find the correct size and they will probably even show you how to load it. Good luck!
