SOURCE: Antenna

Radio Shack carries various replacements. Make sure you know how your broken one mounts because they can look the same, but there may be a variation that will prohibit you from connecting it. If you can, take the broken one with you to match up. If they do not have it, check with a local electronics shop. They may also have a replacement for you.

SOURCE: Kenwood LPS 5000D

Hi cw10k

Thats odd. The only passive radiators I have seen over the years have been the same size as the bass driver. They need to be this way to provide the correct tracking of the bass driver. Your speakers sound more like a a 3 way system that may have been modded. Unfortunately they pre-date the internet by the looks of it :) I cant find any info for them, and from my recollection. Kenwood never made anything notable in loudspeakers. I suggest checking the crossover of the speakers to see if they look original, or if indeed they are 3 ways. If there is only a capacitor to the tweeter, then they were never meant to be performance loudspeakers, and probably came with a system of sorts. Keeping in mind the cost of replacement drivers to do upgrades to this sort of gear, may make them uneconomic to repair or upgrade. In Australia(they do deliver world wide) you can get passive radiators from Speaker Bits
Got any thoughts on that. :)

I need an antenna for RCA RP7664A portable radio. What kind should I look for?

There are 4 things you need to look at for the replacement, the two most important details are how the antenna is attached inside the radio, and the second is the outside diameter of the antenna. The other two details are the collapsed length and extended length. You will need to open the radio to see what attachment method is used, usually a small screw through a hole through the base at the end of the antenna. There will also be a wire attached with the screw (usually), that connects to antenna to the radio circuits. Carefully remove the broken antenna from the radio, then you can note the attachment method, and measure the outside diameter, and the collapsed length.

I have moved my Sirius Radio. In relocating the antenna wire I put a very small diameter staple through the antenna wire. I did not move the antenna receiver at all. Now when I have hooked the radio b

If you have pulled the staple back out then that is probably not the problem. You can use a multimeter to check for continuity thru the cable. My guess is that you have something hooked up wrong.

Where can I get a replacement mike for an SME-399

The mic you have is probably 1/4 inch in diameter and the Boombox more than likely has 1/8 inch diameter mic jacks. RadioShack has adapters for just this problem.

Replace parts for memorex 2x treme mp3851sp. especially an antenna.

If your antenna is simply bent, you can buy a replacement at Radio Shack or other local electronics store. They have a standard screw-hole size so most antennas will work.

I need the dimentions for a 95 swift rim... the inside diameter hole i already know it is a 13in 4x4.5

You've just about stated all the numbers that you can ever possibly need! Yes, the standard 13" wheel is 4.5" wide, has 4 stud holes intended for 12mm studs which are on a pitch circle diameter (PCD) of 114.3mm (the Japanese version of 4.5"). The only thing you haven't mentioned is the offset of the rim. This is the distance from the mounting hub face of the wheel to where the middle of the wheel is (halfway between the outer and inner rim edges. For a front wheel drive car, this number is usually always positive and I think it is 35 or 45mm for this wheel. If you have an original steel wheel, it should be stamped on the outer rim area near the valve (along with other identifying info).

Has no mounting screws what type do they take or are they standard

Most of these tv's use the 1/4-20 machine screw, for example, has 20 threads per inch and a 1/4 inch diameter. I would recommend that you stick a piece of wire into the screw hole to determine the length that you need and start with this size screw. If it fits nicele and snugs down you will know you have the correct size.

I LOST THE ANTENNA FOR JEEP WRSS 3A BOOMBOX

I have the same boombox and lost my antenna. I ended up going to my local Walmart and bought a generic rubber moulded car antenna. The studs that came with the antenna had threads and too large of a diameter so I carefully filed/ground the threads down until I acheived the correct diameter necessary for the antenna stud to slip into the antenna receptacle. It works great and looks as if it came with the radio to begin with. I hope this helped!

Chainsaw Bar Lube Oil Leaking

A new mounting bar would solve this issue. On that mounting bar there is a little piece that allows oil to drop onto the bar when you call for it or if this is a electric bar oil chain saw. Then it tracks when it needs to open.

How to Install Towel Bar?

Since towel bars are usually installed onto separate hardware that's mounted on the walls, use the actual hardware as a template to mark exactly where to drill your mounting holes. Hold a piece of mounting hardware against the masking tape and use your pencil to mark the actual spots to drill your holes. Use different-sized drill bits to drill for the two ends. The Molly bolt or wall anchor will require a much larger diameter hole than the screws going directly into the stud. (The size of the hole required for the wall fastener will be marked on the packaging.) Install the wall fastener into the wall, then mount the hardware onto the wall and place the ends of the towel bar over the hardware. Attach the towel bar to the mounting hardware using the screws included with the towel bar. These are commonly small-slotted screws located on the bottom of the end pieces of the towel bar.
