I have the exact same problem. The beater seems to turn just fine and the dirt is getting picked up, on it just sits in the hose. I don't think it's the best because it seems find, but who knows? Please help.

when picking up dry materials use the foam sleeve that slips on and the blue cloth (assuming there all blue) over it, there should be a ring that slides over blue cloth to hold it in place over the foam sleeve, for wet pick up u can use the foam sleeve minus the blue cloth but let it dry out before picking up dry stuff, you can pick up both wet and dry with a cartrige filter that looks simular to a car air filter and it slips over the foam sleeve, but let it dry out after picking up water before picking up dry cause itll just clog it up

check the container lock and lid to make sure that they are installed properly. filter could be plugged.

Check the belt and then the tube on the side of the vacuum that runs from the bottom to up the side to the bag. If they belt is broken the vacuum will not pick anything up. If that tube is clogged up with dirt that will keep the vacuum from picking up as well.

ok it sounds like the vacuum line that goes to your brush is clogged partially. need to remove soem screws and get to it from the underneath. or try blowing through the line with compressed air or blower side of a vacuum. its usaully the smal flat veins that clogg right before it goes up into the tube that you connect to.

Can't do it. The machine vacuums in both scrub and pick-up. Sorry.
