Why does my lg840g keep beeping like it's charges, when its not? (Even showing the lightening bolt)

i can't be sure as i don't have one but it may just be that the external battery is simply charging the internal one ?

Bad charger, no power to charger.

Let it charge overnight. Dont use it while its charging for 8hours . Reboot it and try again

When charging the lightening bolt should be shown in the middle of the battery symbol! Are you using an original Apple charging cable and is it a USB mains or computer charger?

Is the charger ok?(silly me). Unless the battery is functionally dead, it should work. Sometime plugging into another wall outlet may help.

The orange flashing lightening bolt is confirmation the battery does not charge. It is not an indicator of any other hardware failure.

You can remove the battery if you find the flash annoying. The laptop will be lighter without the battery too!

The bios can only be flashed if you have more than 10% battery charge. check if you have any other AC adapter. is the battery does not charge with another adapter then it could be a battery or motherboard fault. Try another good known battery, If even a good known battery fails to charge then its a motherboard issue. Call technical support and get the motherboard replaced.

Sounds like a defective phone...

I'd return it again... mark it to see if it's the same phone being returned to you....(perhaps inside the battery area) then try for
a refund if it happens again... if no refund available... check out
