if your computer came with
a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it click start control panel
administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and
game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall
drivers if you dont have a motherboard disc you will have to download the
drivers cnetdownload.com if these
drivers are not suitable on the home page you should see the download
software finder under that there will be a list platform, category sub category
price fromthe category drop down list select drivers then from the price drop
down list select free or which ever applies to your need or you could try some
of these http://download.cnet.com/Realtek-AC-97-Driver-Windows-98-Me-2000-XP-2003/3000-2120_4-10238712.html Realtek AC
After reinstalling/installing an Operating System you can lose the Audio Drivers or sometimes they just corrupt.. Try reinstalling the Audio Drivers from the disk provide with your P.C./Laptop. If you no longer have the disk just visit the website of the makers of your P.C./Laptop or Motherboard and download the Audio Drivers from there, after that install them.
Thumbs up please if this works for you, thanks.
No. But you, however, can download it online. Just go to your motherboards manufacturers website, look up *********** board model, and download the newest drivers.
