Air veins for impact wrench - Chicago Pneumatic 1/2" Air Impact Wrench

if its like most of them it goes in the air chuck just a few drops i belive or theres a set screww at the under side by trigger more to the frount not 100 % sure

Yes, if you take it apart you'll find that the trigger isn't allowing air to pass through to the veins of the impact wrench. It's a relatively simple mechanism, where maybe something is broken inside.

If it were blowing air but the veins were stuck, I would say, lubricate it. But, if no air goes through it at all, then the trigger housing houses the problem part.

Have you tried to disassemble the air wrench?

The biggest problem I have seen with these is the hammer mechanism.Remove the front of the tool and disassemble hammers.Clean them good with solvent and using a paint brush re coat then with a special hammer grease that can be purchased at a local tool repair and supply store.Also check fwd and reverse seals while you have it apart.Check motor veins for wear.Check inlet screen and exhaust for debris.

Make sure you have at least 90 pounds of air and if you do you need to oil the wrench air tool oil pour some in the where the air line hooks up ..air tools need to be oiled daily cause compressed air cause water vapors to build up when you use it and then when it sits it begins to rust a bit and the oil stops this ...

Make sure the fitting are tight on the hose and gun. Also make sure that the switch for forward/reverse is solidly in one position, if it is not it will cause what you described.

(see your manufacturer's specs.). You should also do routine external lubrication through the hammer case grease fitting. A well lubricated air impact wrench will deliver more torque, last longer, run quieter and increase productivity. Don't forget to add an in line oiler to your next impact wrench or air tool. It will pay for itself several times over.
