How to save your favorites on the main fax screen?

Can't tell from picture what it is, but suspect it's a saved favorite icon for a program/app. Assume you don't use it, so delete program/app and it should go away. If it doesn't, delete if from your favorites.

go to menu and the settings and then fax and do your settings...

Firstly you should try checking sending fax to other number as well if same thing is happening try following steps.

Go to Setup/Menu- Fax Setup/Menu- Distinctive Ring- Check what is it- If it on Ring Only change it to Fax tone.

Save the settings and get back to the main screen and the tru sending Fax again.

Note* you need to do these steps on the all in one or Fax machine .

No you should not They should be transported over to IE8 when you install it.

It may ask you if you want to transport them over to IE8. If it asks choose to do so.

Turn on the GPS. Click (tap) on the main screen. You will be on Main menu 1of 2 now. click on change preferences. You will be on Preferences 1 of 6 now. click on arrow. You will be on Preferences 2 of 6 now. Tap on manage favorites. You will see your list of favorites. Tap on the favorite you want to delete. On the screen that opens tap delete. On the confirmation screen, tap yes. The screen will go back to your favorite screen. You will now see that one favorite you selected is gone. Tap done.

Tap Change preferences to open the Preferences menu.
Tap Manage Favorites

Enter main menu, scroll down to "Setup Menu" and then navigate to "FORMAT". Simply format your internal or external memory, and thats it.

You should be able to edit your favorites under the Add Favorites option. Here are the steps:
