I have whirlpool oven akz451/ix/01. My element is square when I look for a new one they are all round ?? Will this work in my cooker ??

whirlpool service center /agent will have a correct element for your unit
the shape is probably for a more even heat distribution in the oven as it will cover the floor/ top area of the oven better

My AKZ451 oven has stopped heating up. The grill, light, fan is working fine.

You need to replace the oven element, located at the rear of the oven compartment, behind a removeable cover.

Whirlpool built-in single oven AKZ451/IX/01

If this is an older oven, check to see if it has a control knob or switch labeled "manual and "hold". Make sure it's set for manual. The hold setting maintains temp at about 140 degrees.
If not the case, is this gas or electric?
