Continuous Drain Where can I get a replacement adapter for continuous draining on this dehumidifier?

make sure you pull the plug out where you hook up the hose

this happens when the drain tube becomes blocked so unit overflows and water falls into bucket and not flows out tube , clean tube and drain port with compressed air (wear eye protection!!!)

continuous drain option, So was there a plug in the end of pipe, did you remove it, does your pipe run down over, has to. Not a lot between bottom of unit and floor, But pipe has to go down over, if up and down, will not drain. down all the way

I am also an air conditioning tech, with same problem and same soleus dehumidifier problem. you must remove the plug and install the drain line hose adapter. Hose must lay flat and have no "hills" for water to drain. With this done pull your drain pan out and set aside. look under right side facing the dehumidifier and you will see a small spout. Has a lip like a little tea pot. Plug that spout. I used a foam ear plug used in work shops. Now give the front of dehumidifier a slight rise on front wheels about the thickness of a pies of cardboard 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch. Now put drain pan back in an start up. The problem is the drain pan was made with very little differance in pitch between the the hose drain and the bucket drain. Remember to check your drain hose periodically and the air filter also. Disconnect the hose and reattach the hose connection drain cap, that was removed when the hose was attached. The water will then be diverted into the water collection bucket

I have a similar Whirlpool dehumidifier and a similar problem. Have you tried setting it to continuous mode? My understanding was that it would only divert the drainage to a side hose when in the continuous mode.

Take out the drain pan and look in left hand top of the compartment and you will see a drain hole for the pan.Plug the drain hole with a small rubber plug, I used an electrical wire nut wrapped with tape and it worked fine.replace the pan and the water will run out the back. A 3/4" garden hose should work for the drain hole.
