There is no switch, they are automatic. There is a sensor mounted on the top of dashboard that senses light, which tells headlights to turn on.

I have a 2004 buick rainer. if the suv sits for a peiod of time - 12 hours the rear of the suv lowers by 4 to 5 inches. when the suv is started the compressors pumps the rear end up to where it should...

I have seen alot of the rear shocks that leak on these vehicles... also there is a nother not so common problem of the solinoid failing open and letting the air drain back through the compresor... I would try and spray the shocks around the rubber boot with a soapy water solution and check for bubb;es indicating a leak.
