I tried to installe sound driver in my 865g intel motherboard but multimedia audio controller driver still shows uninstalled. what to do pls help?

try the above link it looks like 5 different variations of that board exist that might be where the problem is,also as along shot have you tried enabling/disabling the sound in device manager?

there is not max size hard drive for that system. yes, it will work

I need audio/sound drivers for HP compaq (Desktop). the on board sound has Foxcon branded on it. I dont know if foxcon drivers can fix and i dont have HP Drivers. Rhian

Sound driver

there is more than one company producing a motherboard with model 865g
Most common one is intel , here are drivers for intel 865g
You need to download the PCI sound driver at bottom of page.
Here instead are drivers for Elitegroup 865g

change the sound card slot
re-install the drivers
restart the system
then you can get the sound
