Why dosnt my pioneer sx-315 not power up - Pioneer SX-315

the main thing to buzz is the power transformer does it work ?????

It's telling you it thinks the headphones are in. Remove them or troubleshoot why it thinks they're in.

Probably the thermal fuse in the main power transformer. Check for ac on both the primary and secondary of the transformer. If you have 120v ac on the primary when the standby light is off and nothing on the secondary you need a new transformer.

try to reset the unit, i dont know how to reset but you can ask some expert, hopefully it works!!

With persistence, I was able to program the Universal Remote Control provided with the cable box to control my new used Pioneer SX-315 receiver. I now can control the tv volume, cable box, auxiliary stereo receiver with speaker system with one remote. Thank goodness I did not have to resort to buying a Pioneer remote control.

I was able to program another previously unused universal remote which I purchased several years ago. However, since the other remote control did not list the Vizio TV. That brand is too new for the remote.

hello i have a pioneer sx-315 it plays great but the sub performs badly.they sound is very low.they really need to perform better.if anybody know any sub that work better please let me know.
