What are the locations of the Remote Control Door Lock Receivers RCDLR in a 2015 Malibu?

According to GM there are 3 components in the RCDLR or RKE remote keyless entry system. My key fobs with new batteries only work standing right next to the car. The range of the key fob dropped at that the same time my TPMS tire pressure monitoring system repair warning came on my dashboard. The problem is that there are 4 different components on the 2015 Malibu. I will provide the GM part numbers for these, if you please tell me where they are and also how to replace them: #13583559 Remote Control Door Lock Receiver #13502554 Antenna #13502551 Ignition Lock Key Transmitter Antenna #13502549 Low Frequency Console Antenna

I have a 2003 trailblazer and i bought a fob and it does not work after programing Everything thing works on my truck but the fob. Any ideas?

How was it programmed ? Was a scan tool used ?
Program All Key Fobs
To complete this programming operation, all keyless entry transmitters associated with the vehicle must be available for programming. Once placed into program mode, all previously programmed transmitters will be erased from memory upon the receipt of the programming signal from the first transmitter.
  1. Close the lift gate.
  2. Ignition ON, access the scan tool Lift gate Module Setup menu and select Program All Key Fobs.
  3. Follow the scan tool on screen instructions in order to program the transmitters. Select "Start" on the scan tool to enter the program mode.
  4. As each transmitter is successfully programmed, the scan tool will show how many transmitters have been placed into memory.
  5. When all transmitters are programmed, exit the program mode by selecting "Stop" on the scan tool. The vehicle will not respond to the transmitters until the program mode is exited.
  6. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.
Program Individual Key Fob
If there are less than four keyless entry transmitters programmed to the vehicle, an individual fob transmitter can be added. This method will not erase previously programmed transmitters from memory.
  1. Close the lift gate.
  2. Ignition ON, access the scan tool Lift gate Module Setup menu and select Program Individual Key Fob.
  3. Select "Program additional Key Fob" on the scan tool.
  4. Follow the scan tool on screen instructions in order to program the transmitter.
  5. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.

2005 sts wont start. Says no FOBS detected. Please help?

Are both FOBs doing this? If it's only one I would replace the FOB battery.
NO FOBS DETECTED Message on DIC, No Crank/Start Unless Fob in Center Console Pocket or Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Button Inoperative (Replace Remote Control Door Lock, Theft Deterrent Receiver Assm) #04-08-52-008

Tell the Dealership to look at this. They should be able to fix it quickly.

Programming a keyless entry remote

Key Fob Auto Learn
This procedure will first erase all known key fobs. The procedure will then program a single or multiple key fobs. Method 3 is a series of three 10-minute key cycles, for a total of 30 minutes. This procedure requires that you have a replacement key fob and the vehicle mechanical key.

Important: All previously programmed key fobs will be erased upon completion of the 30-minute programming procedure. The order in which the key fobs are programmed will determine its numbering position within the RCDLR memory. The first key fob programmed will be key fob #1, and the second key fob programmed will be key fob #2. The number stamped on the key fob case is for reference only: #2 can be programmed as #1.
Do not place any known good key fobs in the vicinity of the vehicle when programming.

The vehicle must be OFF.
Place the replacement key fob in the console pocket with the buttons facing forward.
Insert the vehicle key in the driver door lock cylinder located in the driver door handle and cycle the key 5 times within 5 seconds.

The DIC will display a message: OFF/ACC TO LEARN.
Press the OFF/ACC portion of the ignition button.
The DIC will display a message: WAIT 10 MINUTES, then it will count down from 10 to 0, one minute at a time.
When the counter reaches 0, DIC will display OFF/ACC TO LEARN.
Repeat steps 5-7 two more times, for a total of 30 minutes.
The DIC will display a message: OFF/ACC TO LEARN.
Press the OFF/ACC portion of the ignition button.
A beep will occur and the DIC will display: READY FOR FOB 1. At this time all previously known key fobs have been erased. When fob 1 is programmed a beep will be heard and the DIC will display a message: READY FOR FOB 2.
Additional key fobs can be programmed by taking fob 1 out of the pocket and inserting fob 2. If desired, up to 4 fobs can be programmed. Once 4 fobs have been learned, the DIC will display a message: MAX FOBS LEARNED, and automatically exit the program mode.
If learning less than 4 key fobs, press the OFF/ACC portion of the ignition button to exit the program mode.
Operate the active portion of each key fob in order to finalize the programming sequence and verify correct system operation.

Good luck and hope this help's keep me posted, there are 3 other methods and the 5th method is a tech 2 scan tool that the dealer uses but this should work on your year of cadillac.

Remote keyless entry

I assume you are talking about the key fob. First, pry it open and change the battery. Watch which way the + goes.
If your key fob works, and the battery did not fix it, try reprogramming following the instrcutions in the owner manual. May need both fobs present at the same time.
Note; This is different than programming the anti-theft key.

2004 gmc sierra truck

UNLESS YOU ARE WITH A FAMILIAR WITH NEWER AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRONICS, I WOULD ADVISE AGAINST DOING AN AFTERMARKET ALARM / KEYLESS SYSTEM YOURSELF. THE PASS KEY CODES YOU ARE TRYING TO GET WOULD REQUIRE A DEDICATED MANUFACTURER SCAN / DIAGNOSTIC TOOL TO GAIN THE NUMBERS FROM THE BODY CONTROL MODULE. THE LEADING SNAP-ON SCAN TOOL STILL WILL NOT GET THE INFORMATION YOU NEED.
YOU MAY BE ABLE TO CONTACT YOUR LOCAL VEHICLE DEALERSHIP AND SEE IF THEY CAN GET YOU THE NUMBERS YOU REQUIRE FROM YOUR VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER OR "VIN" NUMBER FROM THE VEHICLE.
AS FOR THE KEYLESS SYSTEMS AVAILABLE IN THE AFTERMARKET SCENE ANY SYSTEM WOULD REQUIRE A DEDICATED PASS KEY ENABLER PURCHASED AT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR MOST 2002 AND UP DOMESTIC VEHICLES.
BEST THING TO DO IS INQUIRE WITH THE MANUFACTURER OF THE VEHICLE AT A LOCAL DEALERSHIP IN YOUR AREA AND SEE IF YOU CAN PURCHASE JUST THE ''KEY FOB'' FOR A REASONABLE PRICE VERSUS THE EXPENSE OF EVERYTHING ELSE. THE VEHICLE MAY EVEN BE EQUIPED WITH FACTORY REMOTE START OPTION.

JUST AN FYI ALSO, IF THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASE USED IT MAY BE MISSING THE KEY FOBS BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS A REPOSESED ITEM, I HAVE SEEN THIS A FEW TIMES BECAUSE MOST LENDING INSTITUTIONS ONLY HOLD ONTO THE KEYS AND GIVE ORIGINAL AND EXTRA KEYS AND FOBS TO THE PARTY WHO PURCHASED THE VEHICLE NEW.
