SOURCE: stove top ignitors do not ignite but oven does.

Electric gas igniters sometimes get stuck in one position causing a clicking sound. The clicking sound that you hear is the electric arc that is pulsing from the igniter conductor (wire) to ground (the gas burner). It receives power from the electrical outlet that the stove is plugged into.
Residue from food and sometimes cleaning products may be preventing the igniter from producing a spark (Arc) to the base of the burner. This is a common problem that occurs when the stove has been cleaned or food is allowed to build up. Make sure that the igniter and the burner base are clean and dry. This will help with proper operation. Oven cleaner and a small tooth brush may be used to accomplish this. Another problem with ignition may occur if you have too little (touching) or too much space between the igniter and the base of the burner; it will prevent the burner from igniting. You should only have a little more space than the thickness of a nickel between the burner base and the igniter. A good “blue” arc from the igniter to the burner base is optimal. If this doesn’t work, you may need to replace the electric igniter module. Good luck.

Why does my stove say f230?

It would help to know what make and model of stove it is.
The first step is to unplug the stove from the wall for 30 seconds or more, then plug it back in

Location of 110v outlet

why would you want to power a microwave off of a stove if its NOT part of the stove package... you should ALWAYS use a dedicated outleti.e. its only appliance on that circuit breaker, don't load down other circuits with heavy current drawing appliances like microwaves, refrigerators, etc. its hard on the breaker and your appliances don't operate as effectively at reduced voltages either from loading the circuit past its ampacity

Whirlpool Gold Series double oven electric model GBD307-PDQ309

Usually this is a touchpad and control panel fault but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt/ohm meter and the wiring diagram located within the appliance.

With the model number of the oven we could look up the code and be more specific about the problem.

I do not have the manual for a Whirlpool SelfCleaning oven Model wcp58580. I just want the instructions on how to get it to the self clean feature. Thanks, Mary

There is something wrong with the model number you've provided. Generally, there is often a door latch to move. Many older units have a door shield which needs to be positioned before starting to protect glass. Set the length of time you'd like the unit to run and set the control to clean. You may also have to set the temperature to clean. If you have a mechanical timer, set it so the stop portion is about 2.5 hours later than the time you're starting the cycle.

If you get the correct model number, you can get access to the manual at whirlpool.com
