i think that your fax is not set up right, or maybe the machine is missing admin and machine e-mail address, that can cause too this problem.
SOURCE: bizhub c250 error code
There are 4 things to try to reset any error codes on these machines
1.) open and close front door
if that fails go to number 2
2.) open front door and turn off main power switch and then turn back on and close front door.
if that fails go to number 3
3.) turn machine off and then turn back on while holding down the utility/counter button after a while a trouble reset box will appear on the screen press on the box and then restart the machine.
If this fails go to number 4
4.) failing all this call your local service agent.

SOURCE: TROUBLE CODE C-2556 COPIER BIZHUB
Although you did not indicate which model you have, this code is the same for all Bizhub Color models.
The C2556 code means that the machine has detected abnormally high toner concentration in the Yellow imaging unit. Meaning that the machine sees too much toner in the Yellow Imaging Unit.
You have 2 options. Try turning the machine off for 10 seconds then back on to see if the code will clear. You can try this several times. If this does not work then you will need to call a service company to come determine if they can salvage your existing imaging unit or if it will need to be replaced. Or if you happen to have a replacement Yellow Imaging Unit you can replace it and solve the problem yourself.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
