Always the double image will not by the faulty T con board. There can be problem with the buffer ics which are located in between the tcon and the lcd panel . The buffer ics are not replaceable one because it integrated to the ribbon which is moulded to the panel. Either you have to go for a new panel or a new tv.

It has T'Con board. But, it can't be replaced. It is an integral part of the LCD pane; and inside it.

IF it is still under warranty, take it in to be replaced.

Does the screen have a double image? or is one side of the screen darker and has a delay? If so, your LCD panel is failing, common problem with older Samsung LCD's. I have the same model in my dining room that had a double image, fixed it by taking the panel apart and applying thermal pads on top of the panel tabs. The set works like a champ to this day!!!

what is this double image or ringing picture??? if double image you have to check the orientation of your antenna, if it is ringing picture you have to adjust your frequency control by putting it to 15,750khz something don't forget to use your oscilloscope and your frequency counter..

Its back light section circuit should be checked. If you're some thing in electronics, you can do it. have a dvd/vcr combo,double image on tv when dvd is played, vhs works fine.

You will need to repair the convergence circuit to fix the double image. The second issue of the "perfect focus" stopping at 37% will be fixed at the same time.
