MC9190-G Wireless not connecting

Hi I have met the same problem, did you fix it finally?
Could you give some suggestion about this?

<img src="vhin100889_25.jpg" /> * How to deal with WLAN (WiFi) * Setting 1:- Go to Menu > Settings > Connectitvity > WLAN > Internet connection > Ask first - Goto Menu > Settings > Configuration > Default config. settings > myGlobe (or Smart) - Goto Menu > Settings > Configuration > Preffered access point > myGlobe Internet (or Smart Internet) - Goto Menu > Internet > Web settings > Configuration settings > Configuration > myGlobe Internet (or Smart Internet) - Goto Menu > Internet > Web settings > Configuration settings > Account > myGlobe Internet (or Smart Internet) - Select your preferred scanned network, then Connect. - You will notice a WiFi signal logo ..oo)))) on the top screen indicating you're connected. - Go to MENU > Internet > Go to address (and enter the website you want) - Done. Enjoy browsing via WiFi. Setting 2:- Go to Menu > Settings > Configuration > Personal Settings > Add > Access point (leave others as is) > press back > Option > Activate- Goto Menu > Settings > Configuration > Preferred access point > My access point- Go to Menu > Settings > Connectitvity > WLAN > Internet connection > Ask first - Go to Menu > Settings > Connectitvity > WLAN > Available WLANs - Select your preffered connection, then connect. Note:- Update your phone to the latest firmware, preferrably version 7.20 or higher. Firmware upgrade might solve Web browser bugs and WiFi issues. - Check your WLAN server, you might have a weak WiFi signal.

If the default password on the D-Link has been changed then-
To reset the D-Link back to the default settings -
Press and hold the RESET button at the back of the router with the power ON untilthe LEDs flash at the time the release the RESET button.
Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to your laptop/computer's LAN port, openthe browser on your laptop/computer and enter the D-Link's configuration URL..
http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = blank (just press Enter) You can now change the default password.
You can now configure the wireless settings. Now configure the wireless card in your computer/laptop withthe router's wireless settings.

Can't access to internet connection...though it has wifi signal

Yup its have a wifi signal. But you need a wifi router .like mall they have a free wifi or a computer shop. If you want to open your wifi just 12 click menu-setting-connectivity-WLAN-on your wifi then search.then click the available wifi then if say connected.. You can now internet..

I am not able to turn on wireless network on my laptop and i dont know whether i have the necessary driver to catch wifi although i know the side switch says bluetooth activates but not wifi, thanks

This notebook goes with Dell WLAN utility to manage wireless connection and windows has default utility as well you can configure any one of it, if you want to use the windows default utility then you have just remove the Dell WLAN utility from the startup .

and also you can update the drivers though LAN connection

Samsung star s5233w wifi problem

Hi... All you to do is clear all cookies, history and cache then restart your samsung star s5233w then connect to desire wifi connections. It always work on me using the same procedures.

Fail to conncet neternet on my blackberry 9000

In BlackBerry Manager, click BlackBerry Domain.
On the Global tab, click Edit Properties.
Click WLAN Configuration.
In the WLAN Configuration Administration section, double-click WLAN Configuration Sets. Note: WLAN Configuration Sets allow system administrators to push different WLAN profiles to BlackBerry smartphones and associate virtual private network (VPN) profiles to WLAN profiles.
Click New.
Double-click Name.
Type a name for the new WLAN profile.
Click WLAN Settings.
Double-click a WLAN setting.
Select of specify a value for the WLAN setting.
Repeat the preceding two steps for each additional WLAN setting.
Click Apply to configure a WLAN profile.

Please follow the above given steps and hope that this helps you.

Gprs, mms and inet seetings for se c510

GPRS Settings:
1. Go to Menu>Choose Settings. Press Left Navigation Key to go to Connectivity. Scroll Down and click Internet Settings
2. Choose Connect Using: and Add Data accounts. Enter the following parameters
Account type: PS data
Name: MyGlobe CONNECT
APN: www.globe.com.ph
3. Save Account
4. Choose Options Menu by clicking the left soft key.
5. Choose Edit. Leave all the settings as default except Proxy Settings.
6. Go to Proxy Settings and Edit.
Proxy: On
Same for all servers: Off
Proxy servers: Multiple
7. Click Edit on Proxy servers. Choose HTTP.
Username: Blank
Password: Blank
Proxy address: 203.177.42.214
Port: 8080
8. Press Back four times
9. Press Select to choose myGlobe CONNECT as default account.
10. Press Save.
11. Go to Main Menu> Internet>Options>Advance. Press Left Navigation Key to go to Connectivity.
Connect using: MyGlobe CONNECT
Default Homepage
Name: MyGlobe WAP
Address: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
12. Press Save

1. Go to Menu>Messaging>Settings>Picture message
2. Go to MMS profile
3. Create New Profile.
MMS profile name: MyGlobe MMS
Message server: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
4. Choose Connect using: and Edit.
5. Choose Options Menu by clicking the left soft key.
6. Create New and enter the following parameters
Account type: PS data
Name: MyGlobe MMS
APN: mms.globe.com.ph
7. Save Account
8. Choose Options Menu by clicking the left soft key.
9. Select Edit. Go to Proxy Settings and Edit.
Proxy: On
Same for all servers: Off
Proxy servers: Multiple
10. Click Edit on Proxy servers. Choose HTTP.
Username: Blank
Password: Blank

11. Press back four times

I m havin BSNL ADSL2+ DNA-A211-1 modem..i don know how to connect my laptop wit modem in wifi mode..pls tell how to configure n connect it..modem has ethernet port oly not having usb port..pls suggest some...

Secured Wireless is better than a unsecured one. Configuring a secured wireless network easy.
· First Check it the Wireless is turned on in the modem.
You must see the wireless light glow on.
Wireless LAN (WLAN) should be Enabled before configuring the wireless network
· To make sure, if the WLAN is enabled you can check the WLAN light glow.
· If it is off, then you can be sure that WLAN is disabled.

P1 wifi configuration

Hello laserxp,

for this time i want to tell you that i am not very familiar with the P1 wifi, however as my experience on the some wifi connection i only read the usermanual manual of the unit connecting to the internet.

please show me a picture and the model of the wifi so that i can figure out your problems.

Do the following:

click on the mobile companion icon on the menu bar at the bottom. this is the radio icon.

click on options and from the drop down menu, select regulatory. uncheck the box 802.11d and select the country where you are.

save the options.

from the drop down menu again, select the last option called export and click on the export options button. save the default registry file and you are now sorted.
