Bluetooth quit connecting with Moto Razr Phone

Yes I have old Flip Phone still..and my Bluetooth was working fine..but suddenly it has quit working..pairs fine...but after pairing, it suddenly goes to the next step and says "cannot connect". The headset is fine, as I paired and connected with spouses phone to make sure it was not the headset. It is quite bizarre! I cannot figure out how to "uninstall" bluetooth device from Moto Razr phone to start from scratch if that is a possibility? Really do not want to have to invest in new phone or headset at this stage ARGH...thanks for any help!!

New motorola v3m razr phone will not find any bluetooth devices

Is this a repair store, some stores have a tec that can reload the firmware and any new updates for the phone. The warranty is probably over and moto would charge you to repair the phone. See how far away that there is a Verizon that can reload the firmware.

Also, thanks to verizon for being thieves that you can not transfer
anything with bluetooth, so if you want bluetooth for your pc, or to transfer anything your out of luck. verizon has disabled
Obex in the firmware of the phone. You can bluetooth a headset, but thats all.
    1. Press Start.
    2. Scroll to and Select Bluetooth.
    3. Scroll to and Select Bluetooth Manager.
    4. Scroll to and Select Hands-free.
    5. Press Add to configure a new Hands-free device.
    6. Press Search to search for devices. Your phone will begin to search for the device (consult your device user guide for instructions on placing your device in pairing mode).
    7. Select the device.
    8. When prompted, press Yes to pair with the device.
    9. Enter the device passkey (normally 0000).
    10. Press Done. When your phone is paired, the Bluetooth indicator will be displayed on the home screen.

Just checking to see if this is the way you connect,or tried to connect.

I can't get my phone to connect with other peoples

I assume you are trying to connect to another phone via Bluetooth. It would help quite a bit to know what kind of phone you are trying to connect to, but here is what you need to have configured on your phone for Bluetooth file transfers:

    1. Create a link between your Motorola RAZR Phone and any Bluetooth Accessory 1.0 and up, you need to turn the Bluetooth connection "on". This is how: Go into your phone "settings". > Then select "Connection" > "Bluetooth Link" > "Set Up" > "Power" > "On". The connection will stay on until you turn it off. We recommend to turn it off when not in use to preserve battery life.

    2. To connect your RAZR to another Bluetooth hands free kit or headset, go into "Settings" > "Connection" > "Bluetooth Link" > "Handsfree" > (Look for Device). You phone will scan for available devices located within the range of the RAZR, approx 30 feet away. If your cell phone is already connected to a Blue Tooth headset, you must disconnect from it to find other devices. Once you have identified your bluetooth device, highlight its name and click on the "select" button.
    3. The Bluetooth device will ask permission to connect. Select "yes" and press the "select" button; after that you will be prompted to insert a PIN code to initiate a secure connection. The PIN code is usually provided by the Bluetooth device manufacturer, not the RAZR (unless you are connecting to another phone). Once the connection is made, you should see the bluetooth logo displayed on the internal screen, while the external screen Bluetooth indicator will flash.

    4. You can now "Copy" media files to the phones nearby that you have connected to. Copy is an option while browsing through the files.

H700 unable to pair up 'service not supported'

The term "service" refers to other types of services supported by bluetooth technology like keyboards, mice, etc. There's a lot more than just headsets now. I suggest checking the bluetooth options on your phone to see if there is a refresh service or other option....there is one like that on my blackberry that I once had to use to solve a similar issue. Have you tried disabling bluetooth, rebooting phone, enabling bluetooth, and rebooting phone before pairing? Also, look to see if there is an encryption on/off option on the phone...this could be causing an echo in either state due to interference...try switching encryption on/off. Also, check your update options on the phone, you didn't say which kind of phone it is but some can get firmware updates that may be needed for bluetooth to work well. Finally, you may get results by deleting the device on the phone and re-adding it thru discovery.
