My technics 1200. has many problems. the light on the on of switch aint workin. and when i switch it on, the platter does not rotate to it's normal spped. and the 33 and 45 lights are both on at the same time. what is the problem. yours frank doherty

As everything was normal before you started the work, I'm thinking you might have disturbed something. Such as caused a wiring plug to come loose. Maybe even a bad solder joint somewhere?

Replace heater control panel bulbs
1. use old bulbs as samples by gently removing them with a soft cloth.2. Go to autopart shop or walmart,target or Canadian tire and you will find replacement bulbs. 3. Make sure you mark or place each old bulb into an envelope so you know where to put the new bulbs.

There is power going through my technics 1210,but the platter & strobe light still will not work
how do you know theres power to the unit if theirs no strobe light pitch adjuster light & the platter doesn't spin?
the power comes in & to the transformer first,then through the strobe switch, the transformer is what blows when you short the target light out.....i've seen this many a time when people try & change the target lights to blue neon.

I bought a target pre-lit christmas tree but half of it wont light up even though its all plugged.How do we fix it?
trystarting from the point that bulbs aren't working,take one of the replacement bulbs that usually come with the lights and replace them one at a time.just one replacement bulb to start then the one you took out put it in the next until either it lights up or you reach the last unlit bulb,but hopefully you dont get to the end because if you do then there's more then one bulb thats faulty. I've had that happen alot so dont give up..If the lights are on two separate wiring check for a glass fuse hidden on either ends of plug(wall or tree) I hop that helps.

Hello, in order to find if the sytem is operating correvtly you should measure the outdoor dry bulb temp and indoor wet bulb temps, this will givenyou a target superheat. Pressures will vary always use superheat. If superheat is higher than target add refrigerant if it is lower remove refrigerant.

Target light won't turn off
Your wires are crossed. You'll have to switch them out. Make sure when you put the wires back together, that they are covered properly with either electrical tape, or heat shrink tube. If any part of the wire is exposed and it touches the cabinet, it will ground/short out your turntable, and you'll have an even bigger and more expensive issue to fix.

Are you sure that your scanner bulb is working. You may hear the scanner moving but the bulb may be burned out which will cause you to get blank pages.
