Software installation Hi, I hope I can get help. :o) Anyways, I have a new laptop with Vista and XP however, it will not install. When it looks like everything went smooth it will inform me at the end that the install failed and to retry. I have done this so many times, I am frustrated and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I tried loading it on all the computers in my house and my laptop yet it wouldn't work. I really need to get this going cause I have lots of studies to do at the college/university. Please I really need help.

I have a similar prob i have lost my software that came with thr device and since i had a virus and had to re-install ALL of my software I have been left with no program for my recorder. the download i just tried started but then stopped to tell me that that version was for vista when all i want is the basic windows version but thankyou for your help all the same, take care.

To solve your problem uninstall the software and go to this link http://www.tataindicom.com/t-personal-internet-photon-whiz.aspx
While here find the Download Dialer tab and download the appropriate software for your device and operating system.Download both the Dialer and Driver.
some of the hp laptop does not allow you you to down grade to XP but if you like you have to download Easus Partition Magic Software to get the other volume or in other words to split your volume in to two then you have to install XP in other Partition/volume and if you will do that you might not find the drivers. anyways this is the first method.
second method is to install virtual server on your machine like virtual Machine or Virtual Pc and use Xp while you are in Vista.

Windows Vista
This product can be used with Windows Vista.
To use it with Windows Vista, install the software for Windows Vista.
The Windows XP software for your product cannot be used under Windows Vista.
Easy-WebPrint and PhotoRecord do not support Windows Vista.
Upgrading from Windows XP to Windows Vista : Beforeupgrading your OS from Windows XP to Windows Vista, delete / uninstallall the Windows XP software first; then, upgrade the OS to WindowsVista and install Vista software. If you have already upgraded your computer's OS to Windows Vista : Delete / uninstall Windows XP software before installing Windows Vista software.
There are several versions of the Presario C700. Pls try here and select one appropriate ti what you have. Thereafter, clicking on the exact model number would open a new page with drivers for several Operating System, pls select Windows XP. If there are no specific drivers, download and install the HP Software Update.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

when you go to install xp it will ask you to format the partition anyways so just make sure you're formatting the right partition and you should have no probs. good luck
I looks like Acer designed this Notebook for Windows Vista only.
Have you wiped Vista and installed XP instead? If so is there a particular reason, like an old piece of software not working with Vista?
I would be inclined to put Vista back on it. Vista is much better and safer than XP once you get used to it, Especially on a laptop.
If you really want to keep XP, try looking for an older Acer notebook with the same bluetooth adaptor that came with XP installed and see if the driver works from that, its a long shot though.

Your software requires additional updates to make it function on Windows Vista. Please download and install the update from the address provided, following the instructions.
I have always advised folk to leave the software disk in the box when connecting cameras and the like to a NTFS system.
Plug it into USB port and Windoze will find it.
Should be the same with Vista I guess
Leave the disk in the box- or of you have installed stuff uninstall it. And let Windoze do the work.
