SOURCE: Permanent (?) stains on inside of door

Have you tried a treatment (not sure of the name) that you wash plastic dishes with that takes the orange stains out? It can be found at Walmart for under $10. I don't know of anything that can prevent this problem but I don't see why a product that takes it out of plastic dishes can't take it off the plastic of the dishwasher. Hope it helps!

On my frigidaire gallery series oven, how do you clean the glass of the oven door window (between the inside and outside)?

Below are instructions on how to take your oven door apart to remove any stains that may be caught down in the door vents.

Tools needed: good Phillips head screwdriver or small quad bit driver.
A. Open Door remove 2 screws and washers on door lining at door hinge area.

B. With door in broil stop position lift door assembly off hinges.

C. Lay door on table, position so that handle hangs freely over edge of table

D. Remove 2 screws and washers that secure handle to lining assembly.

E. Remove 8 screws that attach textured steel door wrapper trim to lining assembly 3 at top, 3 at bottom, 1 on each side

F. Lift door lining up and out of wrapper trim assembly.

G. Lay lining assembly on table with wool shield/inner part of lining facing up.

H. Remove 2 glass clamps via 2 screws per clamp. These clamps attach innermost clear glass to wool shield.

I. Lift out center clear glass from wool shield, this glass just lays onto the wool shield and is held in place by the glass/ clamps in item H.
J. Clean each glass with appropriate cleaner, Windex, bon ami, fantastic, etc

K. One glass that remains in door lining assembly can at this time be cleaned without further disassembly the lining assembly.

L. Reassemble in reverse order.

WHILE MAKING HOT CHOCOLATE THE OTHER DAY, THE MILK BOILED OVER AND SOME OF THE MILK WENT THREW THE SLITS AT THE TOP OF THE OVEN DOOR BETWEEN THE TWO GLASSES IN THE DOOR. IS THERE ANY WAY TO OPEN UP THE...

First, you will need a heavy blanket to place the door on once you have removed it from the oven. Open the door slightly, until it stays open by itself, about 15 degrees. Lift the oven door off of the hinges and place on the heavy blanket. (The hinges may snap shut when you pull the door up and off, but this is actually normal. It takes a bit of finesse to get the door back on the hinges if they will not stay out.)

Remove the 4 screws across the bottom of the door. Next, stand the door up with the bottom on the blanket and the front facing you.(Hold the door by gripping firmly around the middle edges to maneuver door)

Now, while holding the handle, remove the 2 screws that hold the handle on, unscrewing them just enough until the handle is free. (You do not want the spacers dropping off the screws) Hold the door together with one hand while placing the handle out of your way.

Once again, grab the door firmly by the middle outer edges and lie the door down, the inside facing down. You should be able to lift up the outer panel and glass and clean the inside of the outer glass.

Reverse the above procedure to reassembly the door. You can also take the door apart further if you have stains inside the other glasses. Here is a link to a schematic for your oven door.

How do you clean behind glass on oven door.

you will have to remove the door from the hinge mounts. then the door has screws at the top and bottom, as well as some have screws going into the handle.
lay the door on a big flat surface, remove the screws, then seperate the front from the inside. that should give you enough access to get to the stains on the glass.

I need a replacement door for a built in Baumatic 720 series oven

I have exactly the same problem and my bottom glass panel exploded. My friends did the same. You can take the inside glass panel out via the two screws and clean the inside of the outer glass once removed. Id replace all the rubber seals to as they perish, particularly the one that clips onto the oven itself that meets the door.

Cleaning Inside Glass Oven Door of KitchenAid KEMC308KSSO

To dismantle the kitchenaid pro line oven door: there is a lever over the hinges that attach a door to the oven. The lever is right on top of the hinge. Pull the lever up. When that lever is in the up position, you can pull the door out.
