What kind of embroidery card should I use for the Elna explore 8600 embroidery machine and Giga bytes should it be.

I believe this model is a sewing machine not embroidery. Elna 6005 Heirloom Edition. "Expressive" Line is Embroidery/Sewing. Expressive 860 through 960.

Reload the design you are trying to sew. Needle breaks can trigger circuit protection and affect the design being sewn from being saved in machine's memory properly..

The 8600 has it's own built in on screen manual.

power the machine down and unplug and let set for 30 mins then try again, if that doesn't work then will have to be repaired

are the cords connected correctly?
when was the last time the machine was serviced

according to www.elna.com.au they offer 5 year warranty on their machines.

You would need to purchase a reader/writer unit with a rewritable memory card in the format of the embroidery machine.
