SOURCE: Altec Lansing ADA 885
Hi,
Thanks for posting direct. As you posted, the Sony XBR has only left & right (white/red) outputs whereas your Altec ADA has multiple INputs. This leaves us with no other option but to used just the green INput of the Altec as the black and the S/PDIF has nowhere to be connected to in the Sony.
You would need to use a phone stereo to RCA cable/connector as shown below. Additionally, you would have to set up your speakers as suggested here.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.

SOURCE: where do I plug up
try to plug it at the back of the computer you will see there the outlet for the speaker , it has 3 color, pink for the mic, green for the speaker , hook up the green input cable from your altec lansing to the green outlet of the PC then plug the speaker to the power and there you go h\you have your speaker running
SOURCE: lost my cd installer need something to help
crazy, the speakers itself does not have drivers, but altec lansing does have utilities to optimize your speaker powers. you may also want to update your sound card's drivers.
