SOURCE: turbo air freezer

Check the time setting on the defrost timer. It may not be set to the correct number of minutes for defrost. Compare it with the side that is working properly for the right time of the cycle.

SOURCE: LEAKS WATER WHERE WATER LINE GOES INTO FREEZER.

An easier fix is to redo the connection. Turn off the tap the supplies water to refrigerator, should be on your cold water line under the sink. Remove not on the solenoid valve(blue valve) slide the nut further up the vinyl tubing cut the tubing above the old connection. push the tubing into valve and tighten nut finger tight. turn the tap on a little and check for leaks at the solenoid. If no leaks open tap all the way. If leak tighten nut a little more only until leak stops. then turn tap on all the way.

it is not defrosting. timer ,element , limit switch maybe issue. find defrost timer advance it see if compressor and fan quit running. when you advance this it should start defrost mode, which turns on the heater, which stays on till limit switch opens or timer advances, most are on 12 hour cycles

Hot sides on freezer

If this freezer has a fan under it, make sure it's running. It blows on the condenser coil to remove the heat from the system. It seems your heat has no where to to.
If it is auto defrost, make sure the evaporator coils are not iced up. They are usually behind the rear cover inside the freezer. If it's heavily ice up this would indicate a defrost system failure.

Msf-49nm evaportor pan and drain iced up

I deal with MasterBilt which is a private lable made by TurboAir.
I have several units but only one does this icing up thing. Look for a bad seal on the door gasket. These really ice up if that does not seal almost perfectly. Look for premature termination of the defrost cycle. Check that the heater is pulling amps. The wiring diagram at "turboairinc.com" is very poor but it shows 2 heaters for the refrigerator. They list a diagram for the freezer but it's not there. I know for sure that there is a heater for the evap but don't know about the drain. I've seen some have it and some don't. there tech support line has much to be desired but it's worth a shot. Also, the bottom hinge on the door fails fairly regularly. This allows the door to drop just enought to disengage the switch at the top of the door and stop the evap fan from running, thus causing a freeze up.
Good Luck . You got your hands full with this one.
