You can download the driver cd from curtis internationals website

look for your model and download,
contains all that would be on cd supplied when purchased mp3 player, and a firmware tool, but no firmware, curtis international does not make the firmware files available for their consumers.
This player is essentially a USB drive so you drag and drop your audio and/or video files to the player. It doesn't "synch" with anything as there is no software provided to do this. Also, it only plays AVI files and ONLY after they have been converted to the approriate size and parameters.
This professioanl converter can help you convert video to sylvania.

Here are the instruction on how to convert video files to wmv.
http://digiblue.com/customer-service/downloads/DMP9050_WMV_encoding.pdf
The first step is downloading Windows Media Encoder. You will be able to convert these file types to WMV format. .asf
.avi
.mpg
.wmv
Even if you have a .wmv file you still need to convert it by following the steps in the PDF file above.

SOURCE: how do you put movies dvds and videos on your mix max mp3 player?
I think I've covered this one before... not sure though so here we go...
First of all DVD's are copyrighted and digitally encoded so that they
can't be copied to your computer or other devices. Windows Media Player
can't rip them because of this encoding. Not only that if you were
somehow able to copy it to the player the Mix Max can't play DVD
formatted videos, it can only play WMV (Windows Media Video) formatted
videos that are properly "encoded" for play on the Mix Max.
Check out the link below for how to properly encode your videos for play on the Mix Max.

It has a PDF download with instructions on how to properly encode videos so that they will play on the Mix Max.
SOURCE: how do I put videos on my Philips Mp3 player?
You have to use the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter to convert/transfer videos. If the converter is not recognizing a specific video type - FLV, for instance - download a free program called Riva FLV Encoder and convert the videos to AVI format first. Then the Philips Media Converter will recognize them.
The Philips Media Converter is not capable of converting an entire DVD - you will have to acquire video editing software, and then break up the DVD files into 15-minute chunks, and then convert each chunk.
If you are getting a codec error, do a google search for free video codecs - they are out there. Windows Codec Pack and downloading the latest version of quicktime will give you most of these needed codecs.
This player is not capable of playing copyright-protected videos - so don't even bother with them.
Additional information is available both from Philips website and from Arcsoft's website.
