To copy movies, they have to be converted to avi, even if they are avi already, there is an avi converter

You can’t just copy or drag a movie to the player unless it has been converted first, convert it to a destination on your computer, it will convert faster.
Don’t select your player as the destination when converting movies/videos, convert then copy to player.

It honestly doesn't matter what brand of micro SD you stick in your MP3 player, so I wouldn't worry too much. Micro SD's are much smaller, so no, you can't use a normal SD in a Micro slot. Most however do have an SD "shell" that you can stick your Micro into, and use just like a normal SD card. Also I know that MOST mp3 players allow you to add pictures, videos, etc, and having a Micro SD inside should allow you to add things directly onto it, so i dont see why you wouldnt be able to access the contents of the Micro from your MP3.

Let the battery go dead and then recharge and restart. Or if you have one with two buttons try holding them down at the same time. It may reset it but shouldn't delete anything. It would be the same as using the power button on a desktop rather than turning it off through the control panel. Hope this helps:)

if the touch screen feature is not working, and you cant navigate to the calibrate screen, push the off switch but release right away, so it dont turn off, it will bring up the calibrate operation, its a default to access the calibrate when you cant navigate the screens.

None of these answers helped me. I figured it out on my own. After your smpk8854b is powered up, press the bottom right icon. Then press the center icon. Next, press the top selection. And, finally, double tap the word "english". It will now be back to english.

Adjust the "Backlight Time" and "Power Off" settings to conserve battery life if you find that the MP3 player battery dies quickly.
