yes u can. u have to change the processor but its best to sell your laptop on ebay or any where and purchase a new one....it will be practical. And u will be having 1 year warranty and peace of mind.
If you have a recovery point set to your computer then you can use that. If not you can use Hiren's boot CD(http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/) to save your data to a hard drive then wipe the entire computer out and start over
