yes u can. u have to change the processor but its best to sell your laptop on ebay or any where and purchase a new one....it will be practical. And u will be having 1 year warranty and peace of mind.

You have probably disabled the power button as a power button. Check the hardware setup.

If you have a recovery point set to your computer then you can use that. If not you can use Hiren's boot CD(http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/) to save your data to a hard drive then wipe the entire computer out and start over

Try updating the sound driver in your computer so that it will work fine. When the driver becomes outdated, then it wouldn't work as it should be. You can use RadarSync to scan and update your computer.

have a look in device manager and see if you have any problems showing under your sound heading. you might just need to update the driver.
