Hi flat battery? Try boost pack or jump leads to rule it out. If still happening cross the two heavy leads with a screwdriver. If that dosent work the starter motor Is dead. Good Luck. Jim...
Check the clutch, neutral and side stand safety interlocks. Double check that the bike is in neutral, and the clutch is pulled in when trying to start the bike. If the bike is in gear with the side stand down, the bike cuts off all ignition. If the clutch isn't pulled in, the starter won't engage. Check all these safety interlock switches, and make sure you are in neutral with the clutch in when trying to start the bike.
if it reads the game. start it then wait the maximum of 30 minutes and if it dosent start it means the software of either xbox 360 or gears of war are oth out of date and it causes the xbox 360 not to work
sounds like you are getting the run around there. Your best bet is to go to your local parts store and buy a Haynes or Chiltons manual that has the schematics and troubleshooting sections for your vehicle. Another thing you will need is a test light at minimum. a good multimeter is advised though. I can give you what my manual says about that though. now first, have to know, is the starter turning when you move the key or not. I am going to assume it isnt. check battery terminals, make sure battery is fully charged, automatic transmission in park and then try it in nuetral while trying to start. that would be the nuetral safety switch on the transmission. starter pinion gear jammed in the flywheel. place vehicle in gear and try rocking the vehicle. seized engine. try turning the bottom crank pully by hand. starter bad, starter solenoid bad. You can check these by taking something metallic and touching the 2 post together on the starter. (The big and little posts). That should get you started though. good luck
Sounds like a wire or plug got disconnected while changing the headlight out, the harness that connects to the clutch safety switch, the one that lets the ignition fire when cranking only when the clutch is pulled in. A safety feature so you don't dump the bike if you crank it while in gear.
Try it while just coming to a stop.or just starting to move forward. Depress the clutch and push it back towards engagement position....because it's tied to wheel speed the moving parts might allow it to drop in.
ITS ROUGH FROM HERE BUT THAT SOUND LIKE A BAD ELECTRICALL CONNECTION......SOMEWHERE IN THE IGNITION SYSTEM.BATTERY,STARTER? OR THE STARTER ITSELF.ARE ALL THE OTHE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WORKING?
Well, first off....Dont try starting it anymore without the primary, it can damage the gears. The problem you describe is common with custom builds. I'll assume you purchased the correct stock jackshaft for your model and installed the lock plate and everything else correctly. You can tighten the jackshaft bolt to 7-9lbs. Your last step is putting a wrench on the assembly and pulling it out and turning 1/4 turns to make sure its not binding, as a last resort you can bevel the jackshaft bushing on the out primary so it goes in smoothly - thats what I did on mine and it works like a charm. Good luck
