Control Panel for Sharp Carousel Microwave Oven

Hi, I live in Durban, South Africa. I am looking for a control panel for a Sharp Carousel Microwave Oven, Model No. R-8680. The oven is 19 years old and has been absolutely fantastic! I know it's a long shot but can anybody help?

    Did you manage to replace the control panel for the 8680? if yes could you post the instructions up?

    hi mb_s...did you manage to souce the controll panel? if so where? also if you know can you put the instrcutiions for opening up the front to replace the panel?

I have the Sharp R-1440 carousel microwave oven and it won't shut off when I close the door. Do you know how old this oven might be? Model R-1440; Serial 123662
Check and change door interlock switches or check for condensation problem on control panel, (internal).
