Did you try the "Device Discoverable in ___ secs?".In settings, Make device discoverable first then set the length of time. Android phone have this limited BT capability i think.

Testimonial: "Good idea. I have tried leaving my phone on permanent discoverable mode. The problem was not with discovering the Bluetooth connection. The problem was after a few hours the connection would not establish. After scouring the forums all night I learned this is not a problem with my android phone. it is indeed a problem with the Motorola L512BT. Check out the plethora of aweful reviews on amazon. A lot of people have had the same problem with this cordless phone with a variety of cell phones. http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Cordless-Answering-Bluetooth-L512BT/product-reviews/B003EXRQHA/ref=cm_cr_dp_qt_hist_one?ie=UTF8&filterBy=addOneStar&showViewpoints=0 I am returning mine this afternoon. I will buy the more expensive Panasonic phone and see if it works better."

SOURCE: How to pair a Motorola D200 to a phone??

The D200 is intended to stream music or audio from the PC to Bluetooth devices such has mono headsets or stereo headphones. It does not interact with a cellular phone.

You can also do VoIP calls with D200 (plugged into a PC using Skype or a similar program) and a Bluetooth headset. I use this so I am not tied to my computer when I am using Skype for calls.

Samsung WEP 450 was working ok for its 1st 24 hrs paired with Samsung B2100, however will not connect now. I've gone through the pairing up process again and the device cannot be found. The only other...

Hi,

normally, the pairing has to be done once. If successfull, you can not pair the device a 2nd time withou removing it from the "paired devices" list in your phone. In order to get it recognized you should do the following.
1. check that BT is off on both devices
2. turn BT on on your mobile phone
3. power on your headset. In case, you have paired the headset successfully before, it has to be registered in your phone. It should then automatically find for the paired device (your phone in this case) and connect.
Dont try to power on the headset before turning BT on on your mobile phone.
If you have no success try to navigate to the bluetooth settings, check "paired devices" and make sure that your headset is deleted. Do the pairing and the 3 stepps above once again.
Don forget, that the headsets also have to be charged..

Troy Windconnect printserver has stopped working

Due to tolerances in manufacturing, some Bluetooth-adapters/receivers do not stick to the Bluetooth-standards exactly. If this only applies for one adapter/receiver in a pair everything works fine nevertheless. But if both do not stick to the standard, they might not be able to work together, although both would work with a standard-conform third one.

Before your mainboard was replaced, only your printserver was not exactly standard-conform. Now with a new mainboard (and therfore a new Bluetooth-adapter on it) just by accident your Bluetooth-adapter does not confirm to the standard, too.

If all this is right in your case, the solution would be to buy a Bluetooth-usb-dongle for your notebook and use this instead of the built-in Bluetooth-adapter of your notebook. If this new Bluetooth-usb-dongle confirms to the Bluetooth-standards better than your built-in adapter, this might cure the problem. Since such a Bluetooth-usb-dongle only costs about 10 Dollars, it might be worth a try.
