I moved, reconnected my computer and my speakers, and found that only one (the left) gives out sound. The speaker that is not working is the one that directly connects to the power source. I made sure all plugs were secure and that the sounds ettings were balanced. I had no problems with them prior to moving. Any suggestions? Thank you. Rachel
Even I have faced the same problem for the past six months.. Today i have fixed only issue with the back jack.. removed slowly and fixed it tightly.. it's works. :)
I have a system consisting of two speakers and a sub. the power adaptor connects to the back of the sub, and the right and left seakers connect to the back of the sub as well. the input jack is also connected to the sub. one day the right speaker, which serves as the volume control unit, stopped producing sound but still turned on and adjusted volume. the problem lay in the cable which connects the right speaker to the sub. the cable had pressed against the wall too long and the wires inside were broken. i bent the cable back the way it had been bent against the wall and taped it in place and got it to work.
I went to Volume Control and clicked on Speaker Volume, and moved the left and right sliders to equal positions.
I got this same problem, tried different speakers and same shit problem, updated the driver and same problem

I have the same problem as raffy71, also if i unplug the left speaker i get sound out of the right speaker but it is ridiculously faint.
I have the same issue, but I never moved my system, speaker on right side doesn't put out sound but left does and it has to be plugged into thr right. Checked balance balance ok, but if I partial put plug for speakers in the jack, I get sound out of both but with a humm like the speakers are not grounded. I have tried contacting Harmon/Kardon themselves, they say to contact Dell for any repair issues.
both speakers are putting out extremely faint sound. You can only hear by putting it next to your ear, like a telephone. How do I fix it? Thanks.
My speakers are also the same way. The speaker with the volume control is silent while the other speaker thats plugged into it works
I also have the same problem with these speakers. The volume control speaker does not work and the other speaker works. I think there is a chance that the problem may be in the speaker wire that is hard wired to the back of the master speaker. This wire is about 8 foot long. I used to bend this wire a little to get both speakers to go on. Roughly around the middle of the 8 foot wire.
My Logitech speakers have the same problem. The left works while the right doesn't and it has all the wiring and sound adjustment. It even has a speaker jack and when u put in headphones both head phones work. These speakers are brand new and I got a new computer. I tryed to see if its a sound driver but its up-to-date. I tryed plugging in my head phones in the back of the computer and they work fine but I don't know why my speakers don't. Wires aren't bent or anything. Does anyone know what it could be? My speakers are Logitech R-10 (it's not listed under products so sorry for the confusion)
my left speaker dont work and when i went to the shop they told me 2 download a sound drive so i done thet and it still dont work and the speakers do work because i tryd it on another computer

i have two computer speakers. the right speaker has the volume
control, power source to connect to a wall outlet, the plug that goes
to the computer, and the plug that goes to the left speaker. the left
speaker just connects to the right one and has no controls. One day the
left speaker stopped playing. At first i was able to move around the
cord that connects to the computer from the right speaker and it would
play. After moving the speakers i get no sound out of the left speaker
at all and repositioning that cord to the computer doesn't do anything.
Is there any advice you can give me.

one speaker works but the other does not and the non-working speaker sometimes gives of an annoying buzz sound when turning on or off speakers.
I have the same problem..Only one speaker works. If i connect the jack of the speaker properly then only one speaker works however if i connect the jack a little bit loose (not inside completely) then both the speakers works however the sound is bad. I mean subwoofer does not work. Its the same thing with front headset jack as well.i guess its something to do with the mother board.I have an Asus motherboard.
I have new Bose computer speakers. I get sound out of the left one only. The right one has the volume controls and the inputs. The left one had only the lead from the right speaker. I have yet to hear back from Bose on this problem, but the instruction sheet says something about getting a Bose mono to stereo adapter.
