Have a durabuilt compressor model dp0200604 that worked the first time perfectly but the second time it just hums but doesn't compress it seams like the motor is stuck can anyone help me?

30W non detergent oil, get at least a quart, change oil as often as you would an engine oil, same hours of use. Synthetic non detergent 30W would be preferred.

Try Harbor Freight They have a tons of different wheels. If you can catch then on sale you can get them as cheap as 4$ each.

If it doesn't try to start, then it could be the pressure switch. Another suspect could be the thermal overload on the motor. The motor (or just the overload) might be overheating and shutting the unit off, then allowing it to restart when it cools.

Is there any humming, or does it blow the breaker? When ot shuts off, do you hear a brief hiss of air?

If there is humming or breaker blowing on restart, or no hiss of air at shutoff, the pressure switch unloader valve is probably bad. If the air blows off, and there is no humming, and the compressor doesn't reliably start, it is probably the pressure switch. If pressure drops too low, give the pressure switch a tap with a screwdriver. If it starts then, the pressure switch is your problem.

Check amazon for fuel bulbs. There 5-14 dollars match it up. Good luck

Have you checked for a breaker on the unit? it would be out of sight but assessable and look like a small switch.

i use valvoline sae30, and mine doesn;t smoke,
are the rings ok, ie does it bulid up to full pressure in normal time?
just one other thing, these have to be kept level, or they will smoke.
