Sure you can do this yourself! When the fridge side appears to warm up first these symptoms can be caused by a defective defrost heater=> 67004188 Defrost Heater Assembly A defective=> 12002495 Defrost Control Board or a=> 67004757 Defrost Thermostat

it is usually inside the fridge section. most of the time it is part of where the light is. your looking for a dial from 1-10 it will have an arrow where you set it at. it will also tell you which direction to turn it for colder or warmer

The beeping is caused to notify you that temperatures are rising the=> 2304099 Defrost Control Board

is possibly defective. Sometimes examining both sides of the defrost board will reveal burn marks or signs of heat damage but not always. Look inside the freezer to see if frost is building on the rear wall of the freezer. I would first try replacing the control in the fridge. If that doesn't remedy the situation, I would try replacing the thermostat next.

Hi Aaron, Apparently this is a Fisher & Paykel fridge made by Kelvinator.

F&P has a support page for manuals, etc., here. I found a fridge / freezer user manual, here. F&P maintains that this manual is applicable to all of their fridge / freezers, so don't be put off by all the model numbers covered (the P120 model is specifically listed however).
