You should be able to remove the plastic grill at the front bottom of the frig exposing the leveling screws which you can adjust without moving the frig.

Frigidaire ref. model fghc2331pffa rollers don't roll

Make sure that the refrigerator's feet are not making contact with floor. If they are, they will negate the rollers!
They screw in to recede.

When I'm vacuuming it's very hard to push

There are many reasons, perhaps yours is one of these.
1) The carpet/bare floor selector.
This adjuster raises and lowers the front of the vacuum according to the depth of the carpet
. A thick carpet has the wheels dropped way down away from the front of the machine, a smooth floor or a very short pile carpet has the wheels up high , close to the front of the machine.
Having the selector set wrong can cause this problem.
2) Check to see if the front wheels are rolling freely.
If one or both are clogged with hair, carpet strands, string, etc., the vacuum can be hard to push.
God bless your efforts.

How do you lock the wheels on a maytag refrigerator

Hello Joyce;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service technician.

You did not give me a model number so I am not sure what you have.
Remove the front bottom grill. Some grills have clips 1 on each end that you just pull to remove. Others have a screw on each end to remove.
1.) Some units have a locking bar on the outside of the front wheels. Turn this bar to lock.
2.) Some units have bars on each side with square heads. There are 2 bars on each side. One for the front wheel and one for the back wheel. You need a box wrench or ratchet. Clockwise raises the wheels and counter clockwise lowers the wheels.
3.) All units have leveling screws in the front. Turn the jack screws clockwise to bring them down. If you did not receive a special wrench with the unit, you will need either a pair of channel locks or another tool when the jack screws touch the floor. Turn the jack bolts 1/2 to 1 full turn. This will secure the refrigerator in your desired position.
I do not recommend 3.) unless your floor is pitched and your refrigerator tends to move. The leveling jack may leave impressions in you kitchen floor. Generally, just the heavy physical weight of your unit keeps the refrigerator in place.

A refridgerator will roll forward and back you cant lock the wheels. If the floor slants that much you can take little peices of wood or carboard to place in front of the wheels so they dont roll.If you have anymore questions please comment me back so I can further assist.

Hi I just bought a whirlpool refrigerator and it rolls forward on opening the doors. Is there anyway to prevent this? It is on a wooden floor, Thank You Model NumberED5FVGXWS

At the bottom front of the refrigerator there are two feet. One on the left and one on the right. These need to be screwed down untill they touch the floor. Once they are touching the floor they should act as anchors stopping the fridge from moving

How do i remove the covering of the wheels to lock them. it is an lg refrigerator with bottom freezer

LG refergiators have floor stops that screw down to contact the floor to keep it from rolling when the doors are opened.

There is one stop on each side, In front of the front wheels.
You may need to remove the toe kick grille to see them.

Check your installation book or online @ www.lgusa.com

When I move the refrigerator is scratches my floor

All refrigerators have wheels, including yours.
There are also two "leveling" screws with rubber pads next to the front rollers.

Turn them clockwise (normal screw) to raise the pads so that the refrigerator is free top move around. The levelers are probably not required, so raise them up high.
I suppose that 99% of all refrigerators have the levelers raised....

Door opens beyond position parellel to floor

Hi dougisommer

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your question is: The door springs seem fine but when we open the door and wheel out the lower dish rack, the door drops further and the rack rolls down to the floor. Reading other postings, it seems like a good name for this is a broken "door catcher." How can I fix this?

You may need a sevice tech for this. The 'door catchers' on the sides of the unit can only be accessed after removing. Not a job for the inexperienced.
