SOURCE: Bios continous beep, repeated ////, intermittent touchpad issue

The beeping when powering on is from the keyboard buffer being filled up by a stuck key. Same thing in windows. Best bet is to just replace it as it is pretty cheap.

Here is a link for one for $25

Easy to swap out also , here is a step by step

SOURCE: My MSi laptop curser types all over the place! WHY!

the qwerty keyboard onboard your laptop may be stuck from liquid spilled on it, and or you simply need a drivers update. start off by adding a backup qwerty keyboard that plugs in via usb to bipass the current issue at hand so you could trouble shoot the cause, to find a better solution, and or bringing it into a technician to replace the whole onboard qwerty keyboard on the laptop

SOURCE: MSI U230 microphone is not working

Check you Audio Sound properties and make sure the microphone is checked as a Recording Device. Click Start/Control Panel and look for Audio or Sound. You might also be able to click the megaphone that is located at the bottom right near the time.

You can talk till you are blue in the face, but if the Microphone is not selected as a recording device it won't work.

Some operating systems will allow you to do a self test of the microphone by clicking Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Sound Recorder

Place a piece of thick card over the touchpad. This problem is frequently caused by a stray palm or thumb touching the touchpad whilst typing.

My cursor jumps suddenly from one place to another, it's very annoying while typing emails, word documents, everywhere... pls help

The usual reason this happens in laptops is that as you're typing, you hit the touchpad with the heel of your hand and the cursor moves. I've done it myself. What I suggest is turning off the touchpad and using an external mouse if you do a lot of typing. This eliminates the accidental contact, and (to me, at least) a real mouse is more comfortable for frequent use. Most computers have a switch that turns the touchpad on or off, or you can disable it through the Windows Control Panel or touchpad utility program.

Touchpad typing problem with dell inspirion laptop

One way to test the problem is get a piece of cardboard and overlay the touchpad while you are typing to see if it stops jumping. There is also a program that you can install that senses when the keys are being used and disables the touchpad. https://www.pcworld.com/article/190038/Disable_Your_Laptops_Touchpad_While_You_Type.html
