SOURCE: Bios continous beep, repeated ////, intermittent touchpad issue
The beeping when powering on is from the keyboard buffer being filled up by a stuck key. Same thing in windows. Best bet is to just replace it as it is pretty cheap.
Here is a link for one for $25
Easy to swap out also , here is a step by step

the qwerty keyboard onboard your laptop may be stuck from liquid spilled on it, and or you simply need a drivers update. start off by adding a backup qwerty keyboard that plugs in via usb to bipass the current issue at hand so you could trouble shoot the cause, to find a better solution, and or bringing it into a technician to replace the whole onboard qwerty keyboard on the laptop

Faulty keyboard duo to dust or liquid spill. Try using external keyboard, if it is working then you've got to replace your laptop keyboard.
SOURCE: MSI U230 microphone is not working
Check you Audio Sound properties and make sure the microphone is checked as a Recording Device. Click Start/Control Panel and look for Audio or Sound. You might also be able to click the megaphone that is located at the bottom right near the time.
You can talk till you are blue in the face, but if the Microphone is not selected as a recording device it won't work.
Some operating systems will allow you to do a self test of the microphone by clicking Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Sound Recorder
