When I try to back up the files from my Everio to my pc, a pop up comes up and says, no everio connected. When I go to view my video it says it is connected and works just fine. I need to back up my files to my PC for editing, any solutions please?? Help!! Also, in my computer I can open files in Everio HDD but they wont play on my computer. How I do I change file formats to suite My comp?
I am unable to back up the files from my JVC ererio. I keep getting same message no new files to bakc up. How do I get around this. I though I deleted all the files that I backed up and want to back up again?
Check to make sure your pc isn't giving the EverioHDD the same drive letter as a network drive or another device. For example I was having the same issue and I checked my disk management and the EverioHDD was being mapped as F: and my F: was already being used for my network drive.
Format the hard drive, one of the files on the hdd are corrupt, I had the same problem and I formatted the hard drive on my camera and the computer would read the camera again. It sucked though because I lost all my pictures in the process but that was the only way to get it to work. I had tried everything else before that.
Try importing 50 files at a time - i had the same problem - the first 50 files would copy to the computer with sound but file 51 would have no sound - after importing the first 50 files into the DVD program on my computer I would delete the original files and import the next 50 - hope this helps

I tried to back up my videos to DVD, no luck. tried to upload files to Webshots movie. Get error message "cannot read .MOD format". Tried renaming format to MPG and MPEG, same result. Vidios will play through the TV with sound. Play videos in Windows Media, picture but no sound.
I've had the GZ-MG130 three and a half weeks and am about ready to return it to Sam's Club. I like the camcorder but Internet sites wont accept the MOD format and I'm not going to waste time converting files.
I have the same problem with
JVC Everio GZ-MG155 Camcorder
driver software
i can only watch the videos on my computer when using the software provided.
When i try to do direct dvd if i select 7 files it says "7 files, 0 MB" the when i press burn it says error 80004005.
For quite I was able to transfer video files from my Everio GZ-MG130U and every thing was cool. Now for some reason, I can not get the audio to play. I get the video bet no audio. So of the older files that I have, recorded with the same camera work and some don't. I can't figure this out. Had the same problem on another computer. One Vista, one XP. Does anybody Have an idea whats going on here? It's not the USD Cable. Also I do get the audio when I play it on the camera. I get audio when I use the software.
I just installed the software. Never had to use it before.
