I dont hacve a laptop i have the tower an i forgot the admin username an password logged on as guest an cant change anything without being the administraitor what do i do to reset the user name an password for admin

Hi,

Pls remove the Hard Drive and connect with another working PC as secondary .Login through administrator and open the drive where the OS installed which one not able to login and follow the path.

Windows/system32/config/SAM file

delete the SAM file .after that connect the Hard drive as Primary and check hope fully it will resolve.
