Hi please help. this is a 6 months old ariston washer/dryer, starts playing up now. as usual i would choose 30 minutes washing cycle (program no. 8), but the washer continues to run even after 3 hours & still running at this moment when i am posting the problem. help....thank you.
I would never suggest working or attempting to work on a machine covered by guarantee but this sounds like there is a fault with the heat cycle, obviously the machine keeps tumbling until the heat reaches the right temperature, with a heat fault it will not advance, to test without removing screws etc, press any heat option button like economy or turn heat dial to no heat etc, see what happens next. hope i have helped, if so rate me please, please note most engineers know if a machine of that age has been worked on and this will void any guarantee

It is not the same problem but there is a problem with the same machine. It is three years old now and has been working for all thart time most days since. I use very often programm no ( it is a very short and economic programm. For some reason yesterday somehing has happened to the machine and the key lock led botton and the delay timer and spin speed botton led has started to flash continuously and the program won't start anymore. Only the water flows in the detergent drawer and no water goes in the washer. It is sunday and have no solution for now. Any help?
Mine has been running for 6 HOURS and i can't make it stop! no drying, just washing! what a rubbish machine!
