SOURCE: Kodak EasyShare C743 Digital camra has cracked LCD

Call up Kodak at 1-800-431-7278 select option 3 and they gave me a price for my C743 of $44.35 + $15.00 shipping, but still no luck on the internet but cheaper than a new camera.

SOURCE: My LCD screen has a dark spot

The screen must be replaced. To do it yourself, the screen will cost around $40 from virtualvillage dot com. I just did one. It took about 15 minutes. The ribbon cable is held in by a flip up lock on the main board. Otherwise, it's just remove the screws around the case and pull the bottom edges outward first.
virtualvillage uses Pay Pal only.

SOURCE: Reference Kodak P850 digital Camera I need

There is no such a book. But I thought you will need at least a detailed manual. And this is a very good manual indeed. You can download it from this link.

I hope it helps.

Unnatural colors and a grainy LCD display

Dear concern. It seems like that the lcd has been either burned out or has been hurt badly.. try checking it on another camera whether the result is same or not .. If the result is same then the manfufacturer has built-in lcd with low depth quality.

EASYSHARE Z1485 IS Digital Camera has red LCD screen

Sound like a malfunctioning CCD (Charge Coupled Device) image sensor. Rare, but possible problem with your LCD screenviewer... in both cases (LCD or CCD) this isn't a job that you could solve yourself; this wrong include distorted images or abnormal colors, scratchy purple lines, blank or black pictures, and/or black videos with good sound being recorded on the camera's flash card.

I suggest check this link for additional details in this previous solutions for an Defective CCD and next contact your Kodak service.
I strongly suggest (taking into consideration the age of your camera) to evaluate the cost of repair versus the cost of a new camera with similar features, before making a final desicion.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

My screen and pictures are very grainy

Check to see if you are in the HIGH ISO mode. A high ISO setting would cause your pictures to be grainy. If you are on that mode, switch to something else and see if it fixes the problem.

I have Nikon Coolpix S4 digital camera. Lcd screen is ok as I can see very clearly all stored images and vedio. But when I want to take photograph the screen become too dem and stores very-very dem images....

It sounds like a problem with the lighting. Digital cameras like that aren't designed for ultra low light performance, so pictures will come out very dark and grainy. It's not a problem with the camera, it is merely a shortcoming.

New Kodak M1033 cannot see image on LCD in sunlight

This is a common problem with all LCD screens without anti-reflective coatings. This is normal. Increase the brightness of LCD while shooting in the sun. Internal memory normally takes only a few images. This is normal. Use a memory card to shoot more images.

Images appear to be very noisy or grainy

When DIGITAL ZOOM is set to ON in the MODE MENU, the lens can zoom into the Digital Zoom portion of the zoom by pressing the zoom (T) button. When you see the zoom indicator on LCD enter the red portion (towards Tele), the image in the viewfinder will become closer. However, since the D-630 is using the digital portion of the zoom, the lens doesn't physically zoom, it takes the existing image and enlarges your image using an electronic program. This can result in a “noisy” or “grainy” look to the image. This is normal when using the DIGITAL ZOOM. The DIGITAL ZOOM can be turned OFF to prevent you from using this portion of the zoom. Locate DIGITAL ZOOM in the Mode Menu and set it to OFF.

Telephoto images

The D-630 has a 3x optical zoom and a 4x seamless digital zoom. In order to use the digital zoom, press the OK/MENU button on the back of the camera. Press the right arrow key to access the Mode Menu. The first setting under the CAMERA tab is DIGITAL ZOOM. Press the right arrow key to highlight this setting and then press again to select ON. Press the OK/MENU button to set the DIGITAL ZOOM to remain ON. When you press the zoom button with the T on it, a zoom indicator will display on the right side of the LCD. The W represents a wider area of view as you zoom out, and the T represents telephoto as you zoom closer to the subject. When the zoom indicator is in the red zone, you are using the digital portion of the zoom. images taken in the digital zoom will appear “noisy” or “grainy” which is normal when using the DIGITAL ZOOM.
