  • When your phone has entered into download mode, connect it to your PC using USB cable.

  • Now your device will be detected,( On task manager stop all processes related to kies)

  • Next we have to select each files from the extracted folder for ODIN.

1. PIT File: Click on the pit file option on ODIN, and now select the PIT file from extracted firmware folder.
2. Bootloader: Select Boot file from extracted folder
3. PDA: select the PDA file from folder
4. PHONE: Be careful in this step, you have to select the MODEM file instead of PHONE file from folder.
5. CSC: Select the GTS5360 named file.
  • After selecting all files, Press START button on ODIN. The Flashing process will start now. You can see a blue progress bar moving slowly. This shows that the flashing process is being done.

  • Wait for the process to finish.Make sure the USB cable is plugged in and never disconnect the device while process is going on.

  • After everything is finished, you can see a green colored bar appearing with PASS printed on it. Now the phone will restart automatically. Allow it to restart.

Bricked samsung galaxy note 2 sprint l900

I would make sure I downloaded the rom zip correctly. Maybe something got borked up when downloading it. Redownload the zip and try that. Also make SURE the rom you are downloading is for your model of phone and cell carrier because that can mess stuff up as well.

When you are wiping the phone in TWRP, you aren't wiping the storage location where you have your ROM zip in are you?

Have you made a backup in TWRP of roms that were working correctly before you flashed the new rom? If so you can reinstall a backup if you saved one.

Good luck

Pc does not recognise Samsung galaxy s when in download mode

You shouldn't need to use ODIN to upgrade to an official copy of 2.2. Installed Kies or Kies Mini from Samsung.com in order to upgrade.
If you're trying to install a custom ROM, do so through app "ROM Manager" using Clockwork recovery.
If you STILL insist on using ODIN make sure you have the drivers for your phone installed on your PC. You can get them from Samsung.com. Then open ODIN on your PC. While phone is disconnected from your USB (though USB is connected to PC), turn off you phone. Once off, hold down both the volume up and down buttons and insert the USB cable into the phone (while the buttons are being held down). This will put you into download mode and should make ODIN recognize your phone.
