If your lamp imploded then your product is perm. damaged. You could have a service center come out and try to clean it, however, by the time you pay for that if its not under the warranty then its going to probly cost you just as much as you might as well towards a new one. Also, Toshiba is one of the worst manufacturers that has issue on their HM195 or HM95 series. They had plenty of recalls going on with that series. If you own that model, you might want to see if the manufacturer can do something for you if you are still within the recall guidelines. Use this as a tool: Click on: "Replace lamp" This is Samsungs website, however, replacing a DLP lamp is the same process in every manufacturers products. Use the prompts in the pop up you see from there. See if that helps. http://www.samsung.com/us/support/guides/howToGuideSearchList.do?group=televisions&type=televisions&subtype=dlptv&model_nm=HL-T6756W&dType=D&mType=UM&vType=R# Good luck!

Possibly bad electrolytics. Generic answer but you didn't give a complete model number.

It is your projector tub if you are getting alot of blue in the picture. Those guns are very expensive to replace. I am sorry to tell you that. It would be cheaper set from wal-mart for your kids to play on.

No I don't think its wearing out. It is possible that the lamp is dying. This is more likely if you haven't changed it in a while. Replacing it should make it good as new.
