I have researched the owners manual and it states to recheck the lamp door and make sure the lamp is seated properly and that the door is closed tight. I can email you the manual if you do not have one.

If any of the following conditions exist, turn off the TV, unplug the power cord, and repeat steps 1-9 to ensure that the lamp unit and lamp unit door are installed correctly:
• No picture • Dark picture • TV will not turn on
If, after repeating steps 1-9, the problem still exists:
