Your phone is not an Android or iOS (Apple) smartphone, it is Java-based. Unless there is a version of Whatsapp for Java (and even if there is one, I don't know how you would download and install on your phone), you are out of luck.

This phone can't install apps, so you can't whatsapp with it.
You need at least an Android phone for that. Windows and Apple phones also can install Whatsapp, but they are a bit more expensive.
I had been using my N99i phone for almost a year and I did everything to find ways on how can I play other games on it. The manual said that we can download Java games and play, honestly I did but no quite successful. And there was one time a cellphone technician told me that you cannot put other games on N99i except the game that was already there. Meaning there's no way to download another games for that phone...boring!
